Lomba, I'm not saying that all the coaches you mentioned were wrong, but do you understand how much a player suffers when he's benched for five years, and thus his chance to join his national team is fading day after day? Another thing, I remember that Zanetti played regularly under Capello's guidance in Roma, alongside Emerson and Tommasi, plus Capello was the one who requested Juventus to sign him before the Calciopoli.

And my point about the horizontal passes is that Zanetti's passes are more effective than some people think. Xabi Alonso is a great passer, but his team hasn't benefited from his long passes as Juventus did from Zanetti's, especially lately.

Answering your question, I can't reckon Borriello a world-class finisher just yet. But he has the potential to become one if he proves himself more.

Miguel Veloso would be my first choice, if we get rid of Tiago... If not Appiah would be a great pick up.

I would go for a side-midfielder if we sell Tiago. Someone like Schweinsteiger who can play on either wing. I see the reasoning behind Secco et al being interested in Stankovic - i just think there are better and younger players to go for. Marchionni is too injury-prone, Giovinco needs to eventually play as a Trequartista, which leaves the aging Camo and Nedved to play major roles in Serie A AND the Champs League. I'm all for another quality side-midfielder.
