(ANSA) - LATINA, 13 AGO - E' Massimiliano Pisnoli, 48 anni, suocero del calciatore della Roma Daniele De Rossi, l'uomo trovato morto lunedi' ad Aprilia. Il cadavere era stato scoperto in una stradina sterrata nei pressi della stazione di Campoleone. L'uomo e' stato ucciso con un colpo di fucile alla testa e un altro alle spalle. Il corpo era in avanzato stato di decomposizione e secondo l'autopsia il decesso potrebbe risalire anche a una settimana fa.

Family tragedy strikes De Rossi Wednesday 13 August, 2008

Roma and Italy star Daniele De Rossi’s father-in-law has been found dead from two gunshot wounds.

The midfielder is in shock after 48-year-old Massimiliano Pisnoli was discovered in a street near the Campoleone station in Latina, near Rome.

The man had been shot twice by a rifle, once in the head and again in the back, but police say the actual time of death could be up to a week ago.

Pisnoli already had some previous convictions for theft and had reportedly escaped a previous assassination attempt.

De Rossi married Tamara Pisnoli on May 18, 2006 and they have a daughter together named Gaia.

The Roma midfielder is one of his club’s top stars and won the World Cup with Italy in 2006.

Official: Baptista Joins Roma

Roma have officially announced the signing of Julio Baptista from Real Madrid. After a whole summer of wheeling and dealing, the Giallorossi have finally captured their man...



Roma have finally pulled it off to convince Real Madrid to part company with the Brazilian. A number of problems threatened to scupper the deal as neither party could agree on money.

However, that has all been resolved and the Giallorossi can now look forward to having a ‘beast’ in their team.

A statement released by the Italian club reads:

“A.S Roma S.p.A and Real Madrid Club De Futbol would like to communicate that an agreement for the permanent transfer of Julio Cesar Baptista has been reached on Thursday evening.

“Roma will pay Real Madrid €9m in three instalments, the first will be paid when the certificate for the transfer is released by the Spanish FA, the second on July 31, 2009 and the third by December 25, 2009.

“Furthermore, Roma will also pay Real Madrid €1m if the club qualifies for Champions League football while the player is here for a maximum of two seasons, therefore it will be €2m.

“The player has also signed a four year contract.â€
