BTW i have some good news from calcio mercato and i hope this time they r true.
The situation now is upside down in teh Quaresma deal , instead of Inter makin an offer for Porto now Porto is offerin Inter the services of Quaresma to encourage Inter to make a bid for the player.
The news say that Quaresma wasnt called for Porto's match against Lazio and he is definatly on the transfer market with Inter the only destination or else the player will stay at the club if Inter make no move by next Saturday and if we dont make an offer then Quaresma can be counted as a Porto player for 1 more year and he will be called for the Super cup against Sporting next week.
This is a very good chance 2 reduce the offer and if these news are true then Quaresma will be here b4 next Saturday or maybe we will go sign him durin our visit to Lisbon next week while we face Benfica.

Cambiano le carte in tavola nella trattativa che dovrebbe portare all'Inter il portoghese Ricardo Quaresma. Alla formazione nerazzurra serve ancora un attaccante esterno e non è un mistero che il giocatore sia un pallino di Mourinho.

Ora, però, a mettere fretta è il Porto: Quaresma non è stato convocato nemmeno per l'amichevole di stasera contro la Lazio al Dragao di Lisbona (ore 22 italiane), segno indiscutibile che il giocatore è sul mercato. Certo è che la trattativa deve chiudersi a breve raggio, altrimenti sabato prossimo Quaresma sarà regolarmente in campo nella finale della Supercoppa portoghese con lo Sporting Lisbona. Staremo a vedere se ci sarà una contromossa da parte della dirigenza di via Durini.

Adriano Enjoys Ibra Partnership

Adriano is happy with his pre-season form for Inter, and is confident that his forward partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic will work well.

The Brazilian’s career appeared to be in serious jeopardy after suffering from devastating personal problems, in 2006 and 2007, such as depression and alcoholism.

In November 2007, Adriano was given permission to travel to Brazil to receive rehabilitation for his problems, and it was eventually agreed that he would join Sao Paulo on loan until the end of last season.

Here he found his feet again, finishing top-scorer, and he then returned back to Inter for the new 2008/09 campaign. The striker has impressed in pre-season, and on Saturday night he scored the winner in the 1-0 win over Ajax in the Amsterdam Tournament.

"I am very happy because things are going well,” ‘The Emperor’ told the Corriere dello Sport.

“But I cannot rest. I must continue to work hard during the week.

“We played a beautiful game, not just me, but everyone. I am convinced we can give even more though.”

It seems likely that Adriano will go into the campaign as the forward partner of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and it is a pairing that the Brazilian thinks will prove fruitful.

“The understanding with Ibra? We have much work to do, but I like to play with him and to create spaces with certain movements,” he explained.

“Last season we played very little together and we hope to do more this year to help the team win something important.”

I am sure the rumour mill will start again with us heading to Portugal.But the biggest hurdle is going to be the fee for Quaresma.40m is their demand and we are willing to pay nothing more than 20m and i am not sure whether that bridge can be filled.

Inter President Massimo Moratti has reiterated that the Beneamata won’t be making any further moves in the transfer market.

The Italian champions have signed Amantino Mancini and Sulley Muntari this summer but haven’t made the number of swoops expected of them.

And in spite of a defensive injury crisis, it seems Moratti is happy with the squad he has.

Don't take Moratti that serious, Frank, as he may have opted to play a transfer game with Porto. What assures you is the availability of the green pastures, as usual.

For me the transfer window will be closed on the 1st of September when there will be no more transfers goin on , just at that time i'll be sure wether we had Quaresma or not and nothin b4 that can make me sure wether we will get him or not , so far IMO Moratti's is just playin the mind games comments to get a good deal for Quaresma and at the end if his tricks doesnt get him a lower price for Ricardo he will just pay the money Porto are askin for.

Moratti Makes His Scudetto Predictions

Inter president Massimo Moratti has made his Scudetto predictions and he is happy with the way his side is developing under Jose Mourinho. The chief believes the Champions League is also possible this year.

The Nerazzurri are favourites to win the Tricolore for a fourth consecutive time. However, Moratti is well aware of the opposition gunning for glory but he remains confident.

“My Inter are solid and exciting,” Moratti told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

“Roma? They are very strong and they have experience. They have to be amongst the front runners for the Scudetto because they have an excellent coach.

“Milan, they have to be considered as they have a chance if Ronaldinho is in good form even though they haven’t had a great pre-season.

"Juve? They always have character where as Fiorentina can be the outsiders.”

The oil tycoon spoke of the Champions League and he thinks it could be Inter’s year after constant failures in Europe's elite club competition.

“I don’t know all the opposition well enough to be able to talk about our chances but Mourinho is an expert and our players have experience. This could be our year,” said the chief.

The pressure will be on Mourinho to succeed in Europe as this was the main reason Moratti hired him.

The ‘Special One’ was victorious with Porto in 2004 and he will be hoping he gives his president the trophy he craves most.

Moratti’s men have proved themselves in Italy, only Europe remains to be conquered.
