I still hope that's true.We need to get rid of some players.I read that Samp are looking for a striker.

Is there any news on the players leaving?Mourinho has told that stankovic won't leave for sure.There has been talk about crespo,suazo and Pele but nothing has materialized and doesn't look like it will happen in the near future as well.I am sure that if we let go of some players we will come back to Quaresma.Mou just doesn't want to have a over crowded bench with stars, it is bound to cause problems.

Secondo il giornale portoghese 'OJogo' dopo le parole di Moratti che ha, almeno a parole, chiuso le porte ad altri arrivi, per l'esterno del Porto Quaresma si sarebbe rimesso in corsa il Real Madrid che dopo il mancato arrivo di Cristiano Ronaldo e la possibile partenza di Robinho, destinazione Chelsea, potrebbe decidere di fare l'ultimo regalo ai tifosi e al tecnico Schuster, un po deluso dai pochi acquisti fatti dal club. Ma per avere un quadro chiaro sulla situazione del giocatore del Porto sarà necessario attendere ancora. La sensazione è che comunque vada, qualsiasi operazione si potrà chiudere verso la fine di agosto.

I think that we’ve all expected such news. Whether they are indeed true or not, is a different issue. I for one believe that the rumours we’ve been hearing, at least in these past couple of weeks, are mainly mind games. Inter are playing the mind game of saying that our transfer market is closed, to give Porto a sign that they either deduct their request or nothing, and now I guess that Porto are starting with the mind games too, by putting into the equation Real Madrid, to give Inter the opposing signal, either you buy him now for what we request, or you risk losing him to Real Madrid. It’s a tough situation for both sides, so we’ll have to see by the end of august, who will make the best move or whether we’ll both meet somewhere in the middle of the road.
For the time being, we have the advantage of already reaching personal agreements with the player (lets not forget that Quaresma shares the same agent as Mourinho), and if certain rumours are indeed confirmed, it may be that he already bought a new house in Como.
I still stand by my opinion that Real Madrid wont be looking at Quaresma, considering that they will definitely take a harsher stance next year on Ronaldo. Of course, we have come accustomed to Real Madrid being a bit of a crazy club when it comes to the transfer market, but for the time being, IMO there is no need for an alert. My biggest worry with regards to Real Madrid, is that they part ways with Robinho. If they have lost out on Ronaldo, lose on Robinho and have Sneijder injured, then the situation will be much more different from what it is right now. They will certainly want a big star to keep their fans happy.

Following what seems to be the end of any possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid, reports are doing the rounds concerning a back up plan for the Merengues...

From one Portuguese star to the next - albeit a man in less demand than his compatriot - Ricardo Quaresma has now hit the headlines in Portugal concerning a potential move to the Madrid giants.

Transfer news surrounding the player this summer mainly concerned a potential move to the San Siro, with the winger tipped to join new Coach Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan. In recent times, the move to Serie A had seemed close to a certainty, but this has now seemingly been turned on its head.

The Ronaldo saga has left the Madrid faithful expecting the arrival of a superstar and, despite the acquisition of Rafael van der Vaart from Hamburg, the midfield still does not excite the average supporter. In light of this, Ramon Calderon and co. are reportedly considering a move for the Porto man, hoping to beat Inter to his signature.

If this transfer does come to pass and Inter lose out on the pacy midfield maestro, the Nerazzurri will surely have no one to blame but themselves. A deal for the player could have been concluded weeks ago had Inter supremo Massimo Moratti been more forceful and less recklessly patient.

According to latest comments by Robinho's agent, the player is very angry with the Real officials and remember Chelsea have also tabled an official bid.He may very well be on his way out.If he leaves, Real may as well turn to Quaresma and we all know about them, if Porto want 40m they will pay 40m rather than sit and negotiate.SOBs.
