Nedved: We Don't Need More Signings
Pavel Nedved believes Juventus need no more additions this summer, insisting the squad is potent and well-balanced as is...
Juve announced that their summer shopping was all but complete after they secured the signing of Christian Poulsen from Sevilla last month, and that only a reserve goalkeeper remained to be bought.
Nonetheless, the Bianconeri have since been linked with the likes of Arsenal forward Robin van Persie and Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, while talk of Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger moving to Turin has also resurfaced.
But Nedved is adamant that no new signings will be required, claiming the Old Lady has more than enough firepower to genuinely challenge for the Scudetto.
"This side is close-knit and gelling well," he said. "There is a good mixture of young talent and experience. I don't think that there is any need to return to the market.
"Is our attack the strongest in Serie A? Last year Alessandro The Waterboy and David Trezeguet scored 41 goals and if all four of our marksmen score 20 this term then we will be all set."

Agent: Juve want Pulzetti
The agent of versatile Livorno midfielder Nico Pulzetti claims his client is on a number of Serie A sides’ shopping lists, including Juventus.
The 24-year-old was on good form for the Amaranto last term in spite of their relegation and is hoping to continue playing in Serie A.
As yet there have been no offers from the top flight, but Pulzetti’s representative thinks it is just a matter of time.
“There are no negotiations at the moment but he appeals to Juventus just as he does to half the League,â€

United, Madrid, Juventus On Alert For Lugano
Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus are all thought to be monitoring €16 million rated Fenerbahçe defender, Diego Lugano...
Fanatik reports that the Uruguay international will be made available for transfer by Euro 2008-winning coach Luis Aragones, possibly as he looks to use the funds to strengthen the squad elsewhere.
The 27-year-old was one of Fener's key players in reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League, proving a rock in defence and even an imposing presence going forward due to his aerial threat.
Enquiries are thought to have been made by United, Madrid and Juve for the former Sao Paulo stalwart, who joined Fener in 2006.
Madrid boss Bernd Schuster is thought to want one further reinforcement at the back due to the questionable fitness of Fabio Cannavaro and poor form from Cristoph Metzelder. Ezequiel Garay, signed this summer, is set to spend another season on loan at his former club Racing Santander, though Madrid have until August 15 to recall the player for the season.
Juventus are thought to be a centre-back short, as their frailty against Hamburger SV in the Emirates Cup demonstrated, though the club have long insisted their summer spending is at an end.

This is a player that I like a lot. He has a lot of qualities that will fit in nicely here. He also holds and Italian passport, for what it is worth. On the downside, he is only marginally better than Mellberg and Legrottaglie, but better none-the-less. He is a leader, he is tough, but too expensive.

I agree with you, Tony. I think he is not improving us enough to justify such a price.
I think our management are saving money for the next step. We are solid enough to do okay in CL and to finish on a CL place again in Serie A. With playing CL (if we beat Bratislava, as we should) we will earn some more money and regain some of our prestige. That will allow us to get better players next summer.

maybe it was part of the conditions when they signed him.... (just my guess)
foreign players go where they're payed more... I dont know how much juve have been paying him, compared to the others, but im pretty sure after this raise he'll feel better, and fired up for the start of the season.
