Ahmed to put it simply,i just can't get myself to believe that c.zanetti is a world class passer or whatever you are implying him to be.Calling him a deep lying playmaker is an insult to the likes of Pirlo and Xavi.I think there is no point in carrying this discussion further because we will never agree with your view point and vice versa.So let's move on.

Coming back to Inter,may be vieria's injury will make us push harder for another midfielder.And in other news,rivas may be ready to face roma in the super cup.

Vieira adds to Inter injury crisis

Inter have been dealt another serious injury blow as midfielder Patrick Vieira is facing a spell on the sidelines.

Jose Mourinho has seen his defence decimated by injuries to Walter Samuel, Ivan Cordoba, Cristian Chivu and Marco Materazzi.

And now the crisis has intensified as the injury-prone Vieira has damaged his left thigh.

Ahmed, you’re simply blowing things out of proportion. I guess that’s the way it is with you. You either like a player, and boast him with exaggerated talents, or you don’t like a player and simply dismiss him as a mediocre one.
In this case, we’re not discussing mediocre players, but a very good player and an excellent player. You lose all your accountability in these arguments cause you simply dismiss one in order to praise the other, which I find rather nonsense. Once again, 2 very good players, and I’m not here to dismiss Zanetti’s abilities, but you simply lose it when you keep criticizing Vieira as if he was an amateur. I’m not a very keen admirer of Patrick, but heck he’s one hell of a midfielder. Position-wise you rarely see him out of where he should be standing, is excellent when it comes to breaking down a counter-attack, physically imposing, great aerial abilities (sometimes this is crucial in midfield, not to mention when going for corners, defending and attacking), a good ball distributor and always tactically aware. You just don’t get that much better than that. And really, you cant break his world class status by just saying its British hype. That doesn’t stick. The Brits do tend to hype, but the hype goes down after a couple of months if the guy is not up to standard. In his case, Vieira has lived up to his hype in Uk for more than 8 years, not to mention the fact that he’s a pillar in his national team (we’re not talking about a minnow team, but France, who in his era went on to win a Euro cup & a WC final).
So once again, stop this nonsense, cause it does make you look a little foolish.

Some good news on the Quaresma front..

Inter, Quaresma salta il torneo. E i tifosi...

Ennesimo forte segnale da Ricardo Quaresma in direzione Milano. L'esterno del Porto non prenderà parte nemmeno al torneo Internazionale di Braga, ufficialmente per i soliti problemi fisici, che non gli hanno ancora permesso di disputare neppure una partita del precampionato dei Dragoes, se si eccettua una manciata di minuti contro una squadra locale durante il ritiro in Germania. La realtà è che il Porto è sempre più esasperato dall'atteggiamento di Mustang, sempre più voglioso di mettere fine alla sua esperienza biancoblu, per poter finalmente approdare all'Inter da Mourinho.
Intanto prosegue incessante il tam tam virtuale da parte dei tifosi nerazzurri, che addirittura si stanno mobilitando con petizioni on line per affrettare i tempi dell'operazione. Quaresma sembra l'unico giocatore, a quanto emerge dai giudizi dei supporters nerazzurri, in grado di accendere la fantasia della squadra e di rispondere al colpo Ronaldinho dei cugini milanisti.
