guys, i didn't manage to see any of our halves yesterday, only mustered the inter-juve game.

how were our players? besides abbiati who apparently pulled off some great saves, what about the others. and the youngsters like osuji??

Seedorf: No Ronaldinho Rift
Clarence Seedorf has rubbished talk in the press that he does not get on with new Milan signing Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho completed his long awaited transfer from Barcelona to Milan a couple of weeks ago, sparking a frenzy of excitement in the peninsula.

One person who was expected to not be too happy with the BrazilianÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s arrival is Milan star Clarence Seedorf, who had opposed his signing. The Dutchman had come out publicly on numerous occasions to warn Ronaldinho that he wasnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t prepared to play in a deeper role to accommodate his arrival, nor would he hand over his No.10 shirt.

As it happened Seedorf kept his No.10 jersey, while Ronnie was handed the No.80, in reference to the year of his birth.

The Italian press has continued to speculate that there could be a clash between the two players this season, but Seedorf has rubbished all the talk, and says there are no issues.

Our interest officially confirmed in TabarÃƒÂ© Viudez and that he's headed to us. In fact, according to the italian sites, its a done deal. Still quite a surprising move. Is he going to be loaned out or what? Viudez is no.10 at Sporting, the current Champions of Uruguay and is 19-years old, skillful midfielder but his height is only 1.68 m

i guess he's on his way to milan now, and once he completes his medical and signs, then they will make it official on the website.

i'm not sure what to make of him, either he goes to our primavera, or hes loaned out.

its been quite the trend over the past few years, we always get some young player from south america. kaka', pato, grimi, now this viudez kid. lets hope hes good. apparently players in the uruguayan league barely get any money, i read an article about them a while back, there is very little professional infrastructure in the league.

as for borriello, im just disappointed because it gives carlo less options now. while at the same time we struggled last season because of a lack of strikers. even if borriello was nothing special, its another option lost to injury.

I'm with shinpin on this one. Borriello was intended to be the backup target man we hoped we wouldn't need. It sucks for him as this would have been the best time to prove his worth; now when he comes back he will be way down the pecking order (not that thats a bad thing). Our attack is good at the moment but it seems so much more complete with Borriello in there.

Our defense will need some strengthening but I'm patient enough to wait one more season. I'm actually counting on Maldini making the entire season injury free.

Another big signing won't be for a while so Drogba is certainly a no go this season. However in a couple of years...

MILAN - Here are the declarations made by coach Carlo Ancelotti at the Malpensa airport before departing for Moscow:

ON THE MOSCOW TOURNAMENT
"Now we go to play these two games hoping to do well. They are important tests and we will certainly meet two strong teams."

ON THE NEXT LEAGUE
"I think the next league season will be much more balanced compared to last year because all the teams have done good things on the transfer market and the quality has definitely improved."

MARKET MOVES

so i guess we are getting 2 uruguayans. i've never heard of them, so we will have to reserve judgment until we see them play.
