Vieira is definately a world class player and Emerson, similar to Zanetti, is extremely underrated. Still, we need to upgrade Zanetti. If we signed Alonso wouldn't you have moved Zanetti back then?

If we signed Alonso, my first choice would have been a rotatory system between both Zanetti and Alonso. But first of all, Alonso would have to prove his worth in the Calcio before he replaces a player in the weight of Cristiano Zanetti.

Andrew, I was thinking about my debate with Anthony about how many Italians it's expected from Juventus and Milan to field in the upcoming season and which team is more Italian. Certainly we can't measure how Italian is a team just by the number of the Italians in the starting eleven, but according to our - Anthony and me - viewpoint, it's still a very important factor.

Another team has just crossed my mind, it's Manchester United. If we apply the same rule on them, should we count all the British players like Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher, etc...? I for one comprehend the rivalry (Maybe animosity makes more sense here) between, for example, Scotland and England, but at the end they all carry the same passport, British citizens. Yet four different countries form Great Britain. I think it's a little bit confusing. Enlighten me please?
