Brighi has extended his contract with us until 2012. In other news DDR went down (whoooooooooa relax there Oily, not that type of going down) with another ankle injury in training today has to get tests done on it to access the damage.

So Baptista is finally a Roma player. The press in Rome are singing the man's praises. Julio Baptista, the savior of Roma. ".....la qualitÃƒÂ e soprattutto la straordinaria polivalenza tattica...." " Trequartista, centrocampista centrale, esterno d'attacco, prima e seconda punta....." Yeah right. What does he add to make us a championship team. What? Just another foreigner, that's all. What are we looking at going into this season. Three Italians in the starting 11? This is my Roma. What the fuck. This team will be about as Italian as that bloody McBurger joint right in the heart of the historical center of Rome.

I give up.

We would never know whether a good foreign ownership would have done better in terms of signing Italian players but for sure it coud not have done worst. I am not for a foreign ownership but this just proves that even though we have an Italian Managing the club it does not make us remaining more local and respecting more the roots and tradition of Roma. We are becoming like many other clubs...sending our youngsters outside Italy and getting shit from foreign countries... And YES, this is happening in Roma. THIS MANAGEMENT IS FUCKING CRAP!!!
