Completely agree with maldini3 on this one...Maldini's presence makes all the difference here. Last season our defense was not as bad as people make out to be; we allowed in pretty much the same amount of goals as the teams above us, barring Inter.

Bonera has definitely grown as a player over the last season; towards the end he was one of the best players in our squad. He'll never be a Nesta or Maldini as he just doesn't have that finesse but tenacious is probably the best word to describe him. He will keep trying no matter what and we need more squad players like him.

This has been an excellent transfer market; the only weak area remaining is obviously at 'keeper. Hopefully one of the current three steps up or we could invest in one during the transfer window.

And I love Seedorf as much as the next Milan fan but the number 10 jersey should be Ronnie's...I'm all for hierarchy and order within the club but this is for purely monetary benefits for the club. Seedorf has to recognize that and then, well, do the right thing.
