I was both interested and a little amused at Galliani's description of Dhinho's presentation to the rossoneri fans as reminding him of the affection shown to Maradona in the San Paolo by the Napoli tifosi. I remember that well enough and also many of his ups and downs in Italy.

Given that Ronaldhino won't be exposed in Milano to quite the same kinds of temptation as the Pibe d'oro was on the Costa del sole, then all that should remind the good Dottore Galliani of those days (all being well) was what he saw in the Meazza yesterday afternoon!

Agreed there Rob, we've never sold a superstar under Berlusconi in their prime or thereabout, never except a certain traitor....but he failed so miserably it will serve as a lesson for the others

Until I see us managing our resources (see wages and contract lengths) better and allocating proper funds for transfer as a result I will not change my opinion of the BF...I'm not saying spend 80 millions every summer as lunatics like Chelsea and Real do, but we can certainly invest more

In the hypothetical, impossible case we sell Kaka, for 100 millions, knowing Silvio and the BF, they'll spend about 20 millions on a 'replacement' and pocket the rest....u can take that from me....thank god this aint hapenneing....we shall now look forward to the dream trio upfront, I dont think ppl realize how good Pato is, last year he played about 1/3 of a season and still bagged 9-10 goals, this year Im expecting him to continue his development...and now that Im thinking of it, we might see all 3 together since matchday 1 in Serie A...Olympics are done on the 23rd (hopefully Brazil does not make it all the way lol) and Serie A starts on the 31st...so thats a possibility
