This calciomercato is far from over and we could yet be given a pleasant surprise...though to say we've hardly had an impressive start takes the word hyperbole beyond reasonable meaning!

So we've gone from the enthusiasm of the past 10 days wondering how to best plan an attack that included Iaquinta, Mutu, Baptista and Totti to one that now talks of perhaps getting Rosina if he can't come to terms with Toro the Little Bull and possibly near the transfer market's end picking up Baptista with Crespo as our whizz kid goal machine the management has been promising us.

Even gutter crudeness can't best describe my disappointment...isn't it just so damned inevitable with Roma? What annoys me most is that a big club like ours should constantly be in the position of trading in bargain basement deals. But, we still have a good 6 weeks to play with and fate could yet favour us. Would we really care if by luck rather than judgment we got we needed? No? I thought not!

In just the same way that Juventus up in Piemonte hope to achieve some success in spite of being burdened by Ranieri, Blanc, and Gigli, maybe we can hope for the same even if we have Conti, Pradè, and la Famiglia Sensi all seemingly determined to fail!

To add insult to injury, my disillusionment is all but complete now I discover that la nostra principessa Rosella does not have a fairy godmother to whom she can run for help, or a fat wallet hidden up her skirt. I'm saddened to say, what she has is una fregna puzzilento...if you guys' info is correct!
