Barca said no to the offer of the Milan for Ronaldinho. The agency of printing affirms it Spanish Efe, citing sources near the parts. The offer presented from Adriano Galliani of 15 million euro more' 5 'variable' and' been refused, perche' considered too inferior to thirty million euro that would be arranged to pay the Manchester City. However the Barcelona would not have closed of everything the doors to a further negotiation with the Milan (italian associated press agency).

Tonyk, we all have our own styles, our own ways of relating to others on these boards, and far be it from me to insist that you follow one particular tack or another. However, may I tentatively observe that while the Milanisti here hardly hold all the answers on all things Milan-related and hold an array of opinions, some more persuasive than others, all of their attitudes are, at least, likely to be quite thought-through. You have your own bullish style and you evidently know your football which makes your posts interesting to read, but I get the sense you've spent a fair bit of your internet-time around guys who are either a bit younger or a bit dimmer or a bit less thoughtful or a bit less informed than the little cluster of Milanisti here. So, you have a tendency to assume a kind of simple-mindedness which I think is a mistake here. These guys know their football; they're excited about Ronaldinho not simply because he's a big-name signing and all sixteen-year-olds need at least two of those a year to talk about with their mates at school. They follow their side with real passion and care. Their opinions on things may be misguided, but they're unlikely to have been rashly arrived at.

I suppose what I'm suggesting is this. In my life I've always been struck by how evident some of my friends' intelligence is in the way they relate to me. I have one or two friends who are miles cleverer than I am and it shows because when they're explaining things or talking about things, they often make the mistake of thinking I'm a couple of steps ahead of where I am. I'm not talking about in a lame teacherly way; I mean with humour or hypothetical scenarios. The minds of these guys work faster than mine and they take for granted that mine and others' are working at that same pace. On the other hand, I have a couple of very good friends who, for all their good qualities, are exceedingly dim - dim enough to be evidently dimmer than me, anyway. And it's evident because when they're lying about something or pulling some shit or other, it's extraordinary how they think I won't notice. It's as if they're pulling some trick in slow motion right in front of one's eyes and generally you're left having to pretend not to have noticed. Now, can I simply suggest you make the former mistake here rather than the latter - assume that these Milanisti know their shit and if they disagree with you, then perhaps they've seen something you haven't. If you give them the benefit of the doubt, I rather suspect they'll surprise you. And if they don't, at least you'll have made the rather more elegant mistake of giving them more rather than less respect than they deserve.

RONALDINHO: YES OR NO

Gazzetta say a deal is struck, so I hope they're right on it. Im still hoping the announcement comes tonite but it looks like tomorrow will be the date

My only concern is that while lagazzetta might be more reliable, it's also less frequently updated and so it's possible that the story it's running is the right one from an hour or so earlier than the latest whisperings of a Barca change of heart might be.

Nothing is done yet... Barca is asking for more money!

Yep, looks they might want to see if they get a couple more millions, they'd probably be OK with our current offer (from what I gather its 18.5 millions + variables). Thanks to the English fucks, Barca's position got slightly better, but Milan is still with the stronger hand as we know Dinho will not accept any other offer, so Barca has to deal with us, they're desperate to sell him and I think its gonna be over in 24 hours, probably less

BTW. Dinho is going to the Olympics for sure, in fact he lowered his salary just to be there (Im assuming he has a big sponsorship deal to be there)
