maro, I picked up what you were talking about in regards to Aquilani and when it comes to confidence level today. He was good out there but you just go the feeling that he wasn't that great. A few times he where he would have the opportunity to shoot, he would hesitate and look to pass instead. As for Guily, I hope that was just a off day for him. He should have had at least two goals today. Hopefully next time we'll see him play on the right instead. Oh and Doni was man of the match for me.

Well, Lomba, many of your problems yesterday would be solved simply by getting Cantbearsedo and Maicon into the side. Both of them will give you much more energy going forward. It's what Spags said we were missing in the Old Trafford debacle - without Tonetto, Perrotta, and Taddei we were without the three guys who give us, I think Spags's word was "corsa." I guess the English is something like "those guys who are full of running"? In effect they're the guys who have the legs to tie together attack and defence, getting up and down. Chivu won't do that for you at left-back. He'll give you composure and class but he won't spend the whole game running up and down, up and down that flank. Vieira can play box-to-box for half a dozen games in a row, but not for the season and Dacourt and Zanetti (now) are both genuine holding midfielders. If you play Stinkybitch deeper, get Vieira playing outside of his comfort zone a bit, or add Cantbearsedo into the mix then you'll get a couple of guys who will go up and down for you all day and get forward to help out the strikers. Alternatively, if you want to play with three true holding midfielders, at least get Stinkybitch to play close to the front two as Figo did. It does mean your team splits in half, into attackers and defenders and seldom the twain will meet, but Figo at once carried a different kind of threat when he came on.
