Mancini signs for Inter

Amantino Mancini is an Inter player after the Nerazzurri agreed a deal with Roma this afternoon.

The Brazilian wizard was a star for the Giallorossi last season, but had made it clear that he saw his future elsewhere.

New Inter boss Jose Mourinho set his heart on bringing Mancini in as his first addition and that has come to fruition.

Early indications are that the Italian champions will pay their Super Cup opponents £10.3m and that Mancini will sign a four-year deal worth £2.8m per season.

We just spent 1.2M on a 16 year old kid (co-ownership!!). This is already a record fee in Italy for a 16 year old, and its a co-ownership too.
The kid is a defender (Inter supporter) who is being associated with Chivu. Hopefully he'll turn out good.

E' l'importo dell'assegno staccato dall'Inter di Massimo Moratti per aggiudicarsi il 16enne Felice Natalino (tifoso nerazzurro, tra l'altro) dal Crotone. Affare già definito da record a livello giovanile.

L'operazione, a dire il vero, è stata condotta assieme al Genoa, che ha prelevato il cartellino del giocatore dal club calabrese in comproprietà. Un patto reso necessario dalla concorrenza di altri grandi club sul giovane di Lamezia Terme, accostato a Chivu dagli addetti ai lavori per la sua capacità di disimpegnarsi difesa e a centrocampo con identica efficacia.

Inter, Abramovich stufo di Lampard

Lampard è sempre più nerazzurro. Felipe Scolari è destinato a perdere il centrocampista della nazionale inglese a favore del suo predecessore sulla panchina del Chelsea, ovvero José Mourinho (considerando Grant un traghettatore). Lo scrive il Daily Star che ha interpellato una fonte interna ai Blues e molto vicina ad Abramovich: "Roman è stufo di Lampard. Lui pensa d'avergli fatto un'ottima offerta per un giocatore di 30 anni e non capisce perché l'abbia rifiutata". Inoltre, secondo il Daily Express, Lampard avrebbe già salutato tutti: "Il mio lavoro qui è finito, è giunto il momento di andarmene".

Scolari Won't Stop Lampard
Chelsea coach Luis Felipe Scolari doesn't plan to stop Frank Lampard if he confirms the intention to re-join Jose Mourinho at Inter.

Frank Lampard may have an unexpected ally in his bid to convince Chelsea to let him leave for Inter. After Roman Abramovich's less than kind words about the player, there is another member of the Chelsea world who is more supportive of the Englishman.

It's none other than coach Luis Felipe Scolari, according to British newspaper "The Sun", which reports that after having a phone conversation with Lampard, the Brazilian is prepared to grant the player his wish, which is to reunite with former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho in Milan.

This might have to do with the fact that Scolari plans to make new purchase Deco, the midfielder he has always counted on during his five-year stint with the Portuguese national team, the new leader of the Chelsea midfield.

It remains to be seen whether Scolari's green light for Lampard's departure will be enough to convince the transfer managers to let him go.

Moratti: "Satisifed with what done so far"

MARINA DI PIETRASANTA (LUCCA) - Inter president Massimo Moratti replied to questions about the club's summer transfer targets on the sidelines of an Inter Campus event today in northern Tuscany.

Quizzed about the ongoing saga surrounding Frank Lampard's future, Moratti said: "We have made our offer to Chelsea. It depends on the player now. He is a player we like, but we cannot do any more than that."

On the signing of Amantino Mancini from Roma, Moratti commented: "We are strong... I am satisfied with what we have done so far. The arrival of Mancini shows the strong relationship that has been established between the two clubs."

Today's Inter Campus event saw the participation of young players from the Inter Campus Italia and Inter Football Schools network, and a group of youngsters from Abu Dhabi.

i think that this is enough for Lampard now we should really start lookin for a replacement i dont believe we r goin 2 land him this summer and if we dont then why should we get him next year cause he'll be 31 years old already and this is old i think.

Quaresma and Mancini should give us the creativity we need so a bit more concentration in Q7's deal will be easier cause Porto are open for negotiations and a deal can easily be agreed with the player himself so we should just make a higher bid for Porto and include Pele'.
IMO Ricky should be our main target and not lampard and a good replacement for Quaresma should be David Silva , Valencia said that they have financial problems and should sell one of the Davids either Villa or silva so they would be intrested to get a good offer for Silva

I am getting a little worried about the qaresma deal.IMO he is a much more important player for inter than lampard.He provides the creativity and width which we lack desperately.

We have players like stankovic and vieria who can play in the center of the park but we totally lack quality wingers(except for mancini now).We need to get someone to cover the other flank.
