Gerrard's a top-class player, Bagg; it's just that he's only about half as good as the English press think he is - but because they think he's twice as good as any other midfielder, that's probably just about right. The biggest problem for Gerrard is that Rafa doesn't quite know what to do with him. Because Rafa always likes to play with two holding midfielders behind the ball, he doesn't know how to get the best out of Gerrard going forward. He's not technically good enough to be a true trequartista and he's not a winger, but Rafa will never play a 4-4-2 with Gerrard in the middle because he doesn't think he's defensively responsible enough. Gerrard instead of Perrotta might be interesting, though Shield will cut off my cojones for saying so.

I think he can play as a trequartista as well..(Schweinzey) but he's better on the flanks. If we can do a double swoop for him and Lahm id be the happiest person in the world. Add veloso to that and you have yourself a contender.

Storari Reveals Milan Crisis

Goalkeeper Marco Storari has spoken of his own personal crisis at Milan, as he is desperate to find himself a new club.

The former Messina shot stopper signed for Milan last year but he was immediately shipped out to Spanish club Levante on loan.

He then moved to Cagliari in January as the Spanish side couldn’t afford to pay his wages due to financial difficulties.

Storari was superb as the Sardianian’s miraculously saved themselves from relegation, but he has now returned to Milan. The 31-year-old is likely to find himself as the club’s fourth choice between the sticks, behind Zeljko Kalac, Christian Abbiati and Nelson Dida, and it is a situation that troubles him.

Oh I agree, he is totally unneeded.... but he IS a badass.

Yeah, we need a midfielder who is good defensively and adds to our offense. But there aren't many choices. Poulsen is a defensive midfielder with very limited ability in offense. Poulsen and Sissoko would destroy every attack. As long as Camo and Nedved (or especially Giovinco) can use this as more freedom to attack I don't see no problem. It's a balance thing.
