I agree with your opinion of Tiago Ahmed. He is too soft and isn't capable of playing at the top level. He is a good player for a second tier club though.

Poulsen is above average and that is exactly the type of player this management like. I still like the dane though.

It isn't about last season, I'm talking generally anyway. I don't rate Tiago high, even if he's skilful, he isn't a Serie A material, and the last season was an evident. Plus and most importantly, he hasn't shown any signs of him being able to change his playing style to suit the Italian game someday. As for Zanetti, I believe that he's very underrated, and him warming the bench for years in Inter Milan was a huge obstacle against his presence in both Italy and Europe.

Zanetti is a class A passer, has an accurate vision and a strong character.

Tiago had a couple of good games, especially when raneri converted to a 4-3-3 (or 4-5-1) formation. But I don't see him doing that much this year so unless tiago can adapt and play in a 4-4-2 he won't get much playing time. I completely disagree about tiago's quality. I watched him develop at lyon into a class player, and although he didn't have a great year you can't keep a player like that down to long. At least that's what I believe. I'm not saying tiago should be given opportunities just for the hell of it, he has to earn his spot and if he does so then no one should complain.
