I agree that Mellberg and Chiellini are probably a bit too similar to form a really good CB pairing.

Both are guys who really want to go and attack the ball. Ideally we would have signed someone who was more of a sweeper, but it seems we won't sign another CB.

Tony, based on your views of Juve it is like you are asking to date a Giselle Bundchen. You won't take what you already got and you are extremely picky. Sit back, relax and wait for Giselle to come to you. Juve will take shape, just not all in one season. I think the squad they are building now is just a stepping stone. Granted, our transfer campaign could've been better with 50 mil to spend but I'll take Amauri and Alonso along with a few loan deals/free transfers. Think of Juve now as a beautiful girl in a club, waiting to be discovered and catapult her way to the top. It is going to be a process and not happen all at once.

As usual, I like both the home and away kits, they're just amazing. Can't wait to get the new home shirt!

Yet, I prefer classic collars. The one that was designed for the Serie B season was the best, in my opinion.

Juve unveil new kit

[quote]Juventus have a new kit for their return to the top European level. On the first day back from the holidays, the new kit to be used in the 2008/09 season was unveiled at the Media Center in Vinovo. Technical sponsors Nike took inspiration from the Club's successful past to create the kits. Indeed the home strip recalls the legendary '70s period, while the away shirt's gold colour celebrates Juve's international triumphs.

The home shirt is obviously black and white, but with slightly larger bands than last season's one. The stripe in the middle of the shirt, under the V-neck collar, is black. After the use of red last year, detailing is back in the classic yellow, a colour which appears on the armholes, on the lower rim and in the front part of the black collar.
