Inter And Roberto Mancini Settle Sacking Dispute
Former Inter coach Roberto Mancini has reached a deal with his old club to settle the dispute over his sacking out of court and the Nerazzurri will pay him €16m according to Sportmediaset.

The coach was sacked to make way for Jose Mourinho last month and he threatened to take legal action over the San Siro club for the way he was ousted.

However, it now seems as if all has been resolved and the former Fiorentina tactician is set to take a sabbatical from football until next year.

Sportmediaset has revealed that sources close to Inter have told them that Mancini will receive a massive €16m from Moratti if he abandons his original plan to take the Inter chief and co to the law.

Upon receiving the lump sum, Mancini will decide on his future but that will not be until next year. The coach was linked with the Manchester City job but he will not be moving to Eastlands.

Reports in Italy claim that Mancini will move to Liverfekkin'wankscum in 2009 to replace Rafa Benitez on the Anfield bench.

However, it seems like an ironic possibility as it was the coach’s failures against the Merseyside club in the Champions League which cost him his seat at Inter in the first place.

Luis Figo has agreed to stay at Inter for another season to play under new boss Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese winger’s future had been uncertain after a frustrating campaign of injury woes and clashes with former boss Roberto Mancini.

Figo had been linked with a move to Asia or a coaching role with Portugal’s national side, but he has instead committed to another year at San Siro.

"Diverse squadre, sì. Poi avremmo avuto un'offerta importante dall'estero, ma in questo momento non ci sono dubbi, il calciatore preferirebbe l'Inter".
