I knew this would come up. I expected it from Aba, or maybe Jamoldo, but not you Grasso. Let me get this out here right now. Shit fucking signings like Riise or Kewell or Ljundberg or Silvestre or anyone else, us struggling to sign any players of real quality while our competition gets stronger and stronger, constant reports of our best players leaving, struggling to secure new deals for our men, anything else you want to come up, all of that is no reason for us to sell out to foreign investors. This management is not ideal, we all know that, we all know the score, but we have to wait for when the time is right and when the potential new owners have a real interest with the clubs best interest at heart. A few seasons of 4th place CL seasons we may have to endure, but believe me, I would prefer that and to stay as we are and sign Riise and Kewell and Ljundberg and Silvestre then sell out to Americans and sign Queresma and Van der Vaart and Gomez and Huntelaar. Any fecking day boy.

But Grasso, these owners would not be Italian and they would spoil the soul of the club by virtue of their nationality. Given where they are from they would willingly drag the club down by signing fringe/shit foreign players, having loads of debt, making empty promises and dissappointing the fans year in year out. Wait a second...

Shield, when is the time right. If anything I think Grasso has been more pro about a foreign takeover than I have. All I have tried to do is highlight the benefits of it within the myriad of novels people here write about "losing the soul" "not having the club's best interests at heart" and "only buying foreign players" etc etc that would automatically result from foreign ownership. While the concerns are very real and understandable, the benefits were being overlooked. Shield I look forward to supporting a Uefa Cup side, that's all I'm going to say.
