Italiamia, I do hope that line up is correct. If its not, and if the line-up is more or less the same as the last, I would be inclined to follow what Glad said following the defeat to the Dutch and hope for Italy to lose today, just so that this tournament would be over and Donaphoney's rain over this team would be ended. But lets not be too pessimistic, not yet anyway, and lets hope for De Rossi and Perrotta and one from the Waterboy or Tony Cass to be in there. I took a half day from work so I could get home early and prepare for the match. Its going to be interesting.

I do hope it is that 4-2-3-1 rather than a 4-3-2-1 (or 4-3-1-2) since I think we'll get more from Simone that way and Alexi can tuck in anyway. Still, just those players is a huge improvement. Forza gli Azzurri.

Has anyone any doubts as to whether the formation will be like that, or will the Don in all his wisdom revert to a more traditional 4-4-2 structure, with Camo and Perrotta on the wings? I don't think he will, and against what is likely an ultra defensive system from the Romanians like we seen in they're game with France, I certainly hope he won't. We need Perrotta driving down the centre in support of the big man and allow Camo and DP to push on as much as possible.

most of the azzurri attacks are coming from the wings, which isn't bad considering the crosses zambro, grosso and camo are sending in are dynamite.
