Thats impossible. In fact, even if we have CL, i doubt we'll get both knowing Milan. So I'd be happy with one, Drogba is definitely but the BF needs to listen to Carlo for the player to sign. Drogba suits us alot more me thinks

Moutinho was good in the POR-TUR game for sure and we could definitely use him, but IMO the priority in midfield should be a player who can fit in our system yet can play as a wide player, we absolutely need to have a player like that.

Also, we got Antonini back to provide a cover for LB, not a bad move at all. Of course it will count as a new signing by BF despite being our own damn player, however, getting a good young player there is definitely a much better move than Boriello and Abbiati

after watching rino, ambro and pirlo out there yesterday, i can safely say that we cannot afford to not revamp our midfield. good thing we got flamini, but we need more. yes, the azzurri don't have a seedorf and a kaka, but they have one or two fine players out there anyway.

well i have always said it, it needs a change. I view Rino as the one who has to make way though rather than Ambro, who bring much more to the table IMO. Flamini-Pirlo-Ambro would be a balanced one, and I think we need one more creative mid (to replace Gourcuff) who can fit in and play wide when needed, we have been linked with Maggio. It doesnt have to be an expensive big name either

Yeah, Maggio does seem like a good signing though Sammarco would've been the logical replacment for Gourcuff. Anyway a winger who can score is definitely a bonus, especially off the bench.
If Emerson ends up staying, I doubt we'll get either Portuguese player.
Boruc had a good game against the Germans; nothing special but he seemed very calm and assured throughout. Had no chance on either of the goals either.

Arsenal line up Roque Santa Cruz as Emmanuel Adebayor asks for Milan move

Arsenal are expected to table a £10 million bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz if Emmanuel Adebayor gets his way and is allowed to join AC Milan. Milan have admitted to making an official approach to Arsenal for Adebayor and reports in Italy say the 24-year-old Togo international has already agreed personal terms with the Italian giants.

Adebayor is said to have told his agent, Stephane Courbis, that he wants to swap the Emirates stadium for the San Siro, where he would earn around £3m per season.

"We wrote to Arsenal to ask about the availability of Emmanuel Adebayor, but we didn't get a reply," Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told Milan channel, the club's in-house television station.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is refusing to sell Adebayor and has slapped a £30m price tag on the player's head - a fee Milan are unlikely to match - but the African's will to leave could force a compromise.

Adebayor's Arsenal contract runs out in 2010, but Courbis will try and persuade the club to release the powerful forward who scored 24 goals in the Premiershit last season.

Arsenal have already lost midfielder Mathieu Flamini to Milan and the relationship between the two clubs appears to be strained. Milan have also expressed an interest in Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o.

Santa Cruz shone for Blackburn during his debut season in the Premiershit after moving to Ewood Park from Bayern Munich.

The Paraguayan, who cost just £3.5m, scored 23 goals for Rovers last season.

Santa Cruz's goalscoring form has also caught the eye of Manchester United manager Sir tender Alex Ferguson, who requires a striker but has been put off by the £35m price tag Tottenham have placed on Dimitar Berbatov.

Arsenal will feel confident they can lure Santa Cruz to London after Wenger pipped United to £5m Cardiff winger Aaron Ramsey. In a further boost, Eduardo, Arsenal's Croatian striker who broke his leg during a Premiershit match against Birmingham back in February, could be involved in pre-season training.

Wenger, meanwhile, has dismissed speculation linking Hamburg defender Vincent Kompany with a move to the Emirates. The Frenchman has been tracking the Belgium international's progress for some time, but does not want to add any more recruits to his backline this summer.

"I have known Kompany for a long time, since he was 16," Wenger said. "I keep following him but the story that we want him for next season is wrong.

"I know him to be very, very good but I have decided that defenders are no longer needed for next season. Therefore, he will not come."

Milan have poured cold water on reports that Kaka will be lured to Stamford Bridge by the new Chelsea manager – and fellow Brazilian - Luiz Felipe Scolari.

"It's normal for a Brazilian coach to try to bring in Brazilian players," said Milan technical director Leonardo. "But signing Kaka is impossible, because he is here at Milan and will be here until the end of his career."

The appointment of fellow countryman Luiz Felipe Scolari as Chelsea manager has intensified speculation about an approach from Stamford Bridge for the World Player of the Year, but Milan insist that any attempt to prise their talismanic playmaker away from the San Siro will prove fruitless.

Scolari, the former Brazil coach who gave Kaka his international debut six years ago, is expected to be handed a substantial transfer kitty when he takes up the reins at Chelsea following Portugal's Euro 2008 campaign. Kaka heads a distinguished list of targets that also includes Barcelona midfielder Deco and Ricardo Quaresma, the Porto winger.

Kaka signed a two-year extension to his Milan contract in February, tieing him to the club until 2012, but Milan's failure to qualify for the Champions League has generated fresh speculation about his future, prompting a curt rebuttal from the San Siro.
