Dopo le voci di un'offerta al Chelsea, Spalletti mette a tacere i rumors con un'intervista a Sky: "Due giorni fa non ero pronto per andare al Chelsea perché non sapevo l'inglese o addirittura perché non mi ritenevo all'altezza. Due giorni dopo, si è detto che sarei in attesa di una loro chiamata e che avrei già contattato uno dei calciatori migliori della Roma per portarlo insieme a me. Queste, l'ultima soprattutto, sono assolute cattiverie. La verità effettiva è che io non ho ricevuto nessuna proposta contrattuale da parte di nessuna società, tantomeno da un club come il Chelsea. Ancelotti ha detto che dovrei andare a Londra ad allenare il Chelsea? L'ho letto. Mi sembra che abbia scherzato, però Carletto è un bel volpino in questo senso. Oltre a prepararsi per un'eventuale posizione futura per se, tenta di trovare una collocazione anche a me. Io non posso fare altrettanto perché io nel Milan non ci ho mai giocato. Però, quando andrò via dalla Roma, il Milan lo accetterei volentieri, piacerebbe anche a me".

Secondo Il Messaggero, domani ci sarà l'incontro tra Lecce e Roma per risolvere la comproprietà di Mirko Vucinic. L'attaccante montenegrino gioca d'anticipo: "Non riesco a vedermi con una maglia diversa da quella giallorossa. Ho parlato con il mio agente, a Trigoria faranno di tutto per riscattarmi. Mi dispiacerebbe tanto dover andare via".

According to ll Messaggero, there is a meeting scheduled tomorrow between Roma and Lecce to resolve the co-ownership of Mirko. He said he can't see himself in another jersey, and Roma will do their all to purchase him outright. All hail The LitM.

Spalletti not Blues bound

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti insists he has received no approach from Chelsea about the vacant manager’s position at Stamford Bridge. Spalletti is on a long list of bosses to be linked with the Chelsea hot seat since Avram Grant was sacked by owner Roman Abramovich last month. But after leading the Giallorossi to within three points of the Serie A title last season, Spalletti has reassured Roma fans he is focused on planning for the Italian club’s future.

Spalletti told Sky Italia: "The truth is that I have not got contract proposals from other clubs, including from Chelsea. "Many things have been said and written about this. A few days ago someone, for example, wrote I wasn't ready to go to Chelsea because I didn't know the English language and I didn't feel myself adequate to the task.

"The same person, two days later, said I was waiting for Chelsea's call and that I had already contacted one of Roma's best players to come with me. These are absolutely bad things (to say and write)."

How about this Juve bid for Aquilani: 20 mil+Iaquinta??? Iaquinta is the type of player Roma have been needing to provide the fire power up front. The problem with this team has always been too many finesse players up front but lack of a finisher. I believe Roma will take this bid despite Aquilani being the future of Roma. I though this was DeRossi's role. I highly doubt Roma will turn this offer down despite their financial situation. In my opinion, they should've sold Totti back in the day for 70 mil and re-build the squad like Juve did.
