hmmm.. shield.. supercoppa will almost certainly be before september, coz the serie A season kicks off the 1st of September or the 31st of August.. i dunno where i read that, buts thats the impression im under. And as we all know, its always the traditional curtain raiser to the season, so it shud be at least a week before that. So for everyone wondering about possible dates.. i think it shud be around the 24th or so. But since its in the US, they might give the teams 2 weeks to travel to and fro, so we might be looking at the supercoppa being around the 18th/19th. Which wud make it similar to last year.

anyone catch mourinho's list of players up for sale? an old flame, david suazo, is on that list. also looks like our resident 'dejan' may be changing his nickname by the beginning of next season.

many of us were pretty keen on seeing suazo at roma last year. he could certainly offer us a new dimension to our offence.

my only fear is that his wages will put us out of the running since i think he ended up signing for more than our players' cap.

adriano is also on that list and after seeing him play for about 30 min over the weekend, he looked pretty damn good again. he seems to have shed a few kg's and looked surprisingly quick and 'interested' despite it being a friendly against a team ranked 62nd in the world.

I'd take Adriano & Crespo!

We could get Adriano on loan (of course we wont be able to afford him with the Sensi's)

We should be able to get Crespo on cheap, and will be great for us, he could be our Inzaghi or Cruz!
