It's official:

Supercoppa To Be Played In The States
Lega Calcio chief Antonio Matarrese has revealed that the Supercoppa Italiana final will be played in the United States this year.

Inter, who won the Scudetto, face a summer clash with Roma who triumphed in the Coppa Italia. The game will be played on neutral ground but it will not be in Italy after Matarrese confirmed the final will be played in America.

New York is the likely venue for the clash but the Lega chief reveals it could be moved to Philadelphia.

“The final of the Supercoppa could be in Philadelphia because we have received an offer from there as well as New York,â€

We do, of course, have one or two reasonable players already at the club, Edge. I mean, it's not as though we're going to have to go out and spend 100 mil to unite a dream trio of Totti, Mexes, and De Rossi in the pitch. Imagine all three of those guys on the same team - now that's fantasy football.
