Well, 7.5 mil is the official figure quoted. I really don't mind having him as our sub; what will piss me off is if our big forward signing is Shevchenko.

I'm going to give the management the benefit of the doubt as the BF did say that we will be going for a big name in defence and up front.
As for the 'keeper, our main target Boruc seems to be really good although he does come with his share of eccentricities. Wiki him and you get a nice long list...10 million pounds is the asking price though and I don't see it coming down unless he has a poor showing at the Euro.
We won't even get a new 'keeper unless we can manage to sell Abbiati so we'll have to wait on that.

I wouldn't worry too much about our future as we have been balancing the books reasonably well; at least 10 times better than Inter...where it is only a matter of time before the shit hits the fan...

i am really worried about our gk situation. we will not get boruc, and we will not get frey. lloris was our big chance. we really need to get someone, because even though kalac is solid, he is not excellent, and not starting material. i just don't see who else is out there unless we bring in some no-name from the americas.
