Honestly Maro, I don't know if I could enjoy my team in the tournament if we had a knob-polisher like Domenech in charge, and thats coming from someone who suffered Steve Staunton as being head coach of the national side. There were games toward the end of the Staunton era which I (and many others) were hoping we would lose – even though we were still in with a slim chance of qualifying for Euro 08, just so it would finally bring the curtain down on Staunton's Ireland and force the dopes at the FAI to get rid of the donkey and make a change. Now we have Giovanni Trapattoni as our national coach (he's better than Capello). With France, I don't know how they still have faith with Domench. Perhaps Franchesco can tell us. Maybe its a situation similar to Ireland's – a manager which all the fans hate and want out yet the Association are happy with. You could say that he's only the manager and so he, and to a certain extent even the players, are second to the jersey, but when someone makes such ridiculous idiotic decisions and lets his own personal bias effect his judgement, even if it clearly is harming the good of the team, then you have to wonder about if its really worth the hassle (and just cheer for the Azzurri instead – I bet you Philippe is).
