so it seems Curci and Antunes will spend next season at Parma...... very good news indeed

which means, we'll need a keeper to deputize or start........ or we stick to Bertagnoli/Zotti. we'll also need an LB for sure.

Ita, I had totally forgotten about Serie A expansion. 4 more games means 12 more points potentially available, though if we win our remaining fixtures it will still be a great feat. I do have to say though, that I agree with you and that "we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory" a few times, but Inter also won a bunch of matches in ugly fashion. We just don't have the depth/experience to have that kind of capability sadly...

Yes we have to win both of our remaining games to stand any chance, that is a given. But even if Inter beat Siena we would still have a shot, right? As long as Parma beat them on the last day, and we get maximum points, it would go to a playoff. A spareggio, isn't that the term?

Apparantley we are once again being with a move for an old target of ours in Joaquin. Not likely considering the money being mooted for him, but an interesting alternative to Rosina all the same.

Shield, Inter have the head to head on us (having taken 4 points against us) and so would win in the event of a draw points-wise.

Head-to-head? Is that how its decided now? Feck me I'm obviously out of the loop on this one, or else I'm stuck in the 80's. It did used to be that if two teams finished level on points they would then go into a once-off play-off geturfeckinrocksoff winner takes all killer deathmatch, right...? A spareggio, or spareggi, or something? Now its decided on head-to-head?? Thats gay. A play-off is/was a much better way of doing it.
