According to some newspapers there is going to be a meeting with moratti and mancio today and the press are speculating that it might be a meeting to desolve mancini's contract which runs till 2012.....

Inter Complete Signing Of Jimenez
Inter Milan have completed the signing of Chilean midfielder Luis Jimenez from Ternana.

While city cousins Milan are expected to officially announce the Bosman capture of Arsenal’s Matthieu Flamini later today, Inter have also been concluding some business on the transfer market.

Luis Jimenez, who has spent the season on-loan with Inter from Serie C side Ternana, has, according to reports in Italy, now signed for Inter on a permanent deal.

The Nerazzurri have paid €10m for the youngster, who is expected to soon pen a contract that will keep him at San Siro until 2011.

Jimenez has had limited first team opportunities this season in midfield, but he has largely impressed when given the chance.

Inter feel that the 23-year-old is one for the future, and could help fill the void left by the probable departure of Luis Figo in the summer.

Figo meanwhile is back at San Siro, after spending time at old club Real Madrid receiving injury treatment.

The 35-year-old was in the stands to watch yesterday’s derby defeat to Milan, but there are still doubts whether he will be fit enough to return before the end of the season.

Inter Close To Landing Hleb
Arsenal's Belarussian misfielder, Alexander Hleb, is said to be closer than ever to a move to Internazionale...

With Mathieu Flamini having already signed for AC Milan, it seems as if Hleb is now on the verge of a move to the rossoneri's city rivals, Inter.

The nerazzurri's interest in the Belarussian international is well-established and long-running, but it now seems as though concrete steps towards a transfer are in the offing.

With the English Premiershit season set to end this week, and Serie A to conclude shortly afterwards, the time is ripe for a switch to take place.

Inter are confident that the player would jump at the chance to switch to the San Siro, given that they are prepared to significantly boost his current salary of £50,000 (€63,500) per week.

The question, then, is whether or not a transfer fee is involved. Should Hleb wish to invoke the controversial 'Article 17' of FIFA's transfer regulations, he could in fact buy out the final two years of his contract.

This would bypass Inter's needing to remunerate Arsenal to any great extent, with the Gunners otherwise perhaps seeking to recoup some of the £11.2m (approx. €14m) that they paid to Stuttgart three seasons ago.

Time To Move On?

That it was three seasons ago is key. Hleb, being under 28, needs to serve either three years or three seasons - whichever comes first - in the red and white before he is eligible for an Article 17 move. As soon as the current campaign formally ends, he will have done so.

Whether or not he chooses to exercise this option at the end of June, though, is another matter. Still, The Times contends that he will almost certainly do so.

It is thought that the 27-year-old has already confided in his colleagues that he is ready and willing to make the switch to Italy, and that it is a matter of when, not if, he will do so.

NOW HLEB WANTS TO LEAVE ARSENAL FOR MORE MONEY

Mathieu Flamini has already left Arsenal for AC Milan and, according to several reports, team-mate tender Alex Hleb also wants to move to Italy this summer.
The Independent claims that the winger has questioned 'the club's ambitions and spending power'. More significantly, 'Hleb has also let it be known that the offer from Inter far exceeds his wages at Arsenal'.

Rumour has it that the £55k-a-week deal offered to Flamini by Arsenal was approximately doubled by Milan once his signing-on fee was factored in. No wonder he and Hleb were all smiles on Sunday when they watched the Gunners play Everton. The Times says that Hleb's 'representatives are understood to have agreed a four-year deal with Inter Milan'. The player himself is said to have 'confided in several of his team-mates' that he is intent on moving to Milan.

Repeating Monday's Transfer Gossip, The Sun report this morning that Niko Kranjcar is being lined up as Hleb's replacement. Although it should be noted that these reports are primarily founded on the quotes of Niko's father.
