Messina,reg mancini i know he makes some stupid decisions sometimes.....He is poor in CL,i have to agree....But tell me one manager except rafa(may be) who can guarantee you a CL final birth....Even jose didn't do it over,what,3 seasons at chelsea and as dejan rightly pointed out,how many finals has sir tender Alex reached during his 18 years at man united.....If he was sacked for the reason that he did not win a CL then he must be a goner a long time ago.....Coming back to chelsea,they have reached the semis in grant's first attempt...Does this make grant a better coach than jose?No....A lot depends on what team you end up playing,how fit your squad is etc....

I really don't think barca would have reached the semis if they hadn't played celtic and schalke.......You really need some luck.......And what about us,we thought if we finished first in the group it was better but we ended up playing Liverfekkin'wankscum...

And as long as we win one trophy or the other in a season i won't be totally disappointed.....

With all due respect to rvn,he can't do half the things that ibra can.....He is a great penalty box striker period.Nothing else...And why would moratti demand him when we already got crespo who is also 32.....

Moratti Demands Van Nistelrooy For Ibra
According to DiarioSport, Inter Milan are ready to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic if Ruud Van Nistelrooy is included in exchange.

Madrid are looking for a new first striker this summer, as Van Nistelrooy, who is set to turn 32 in a few months, is likely to move on to pastures new.

In the last few days the Spanish champions-elect have been heavily linked with a bid for Ibrahimovic, with some sources claiming that they are prepared to pay up to €70m.

Inter President Massimo Moratti has stated recently that Ibrahimovic will be staying at the club, but he may now be having second thoughts.

The Swede has been dreadfully poor in the second half of the season, and hasn’t scored in open play for over three months.

More worryingly, and a reason for this dip in form, is the fact that the 26-year-old is suffering from a chronic knee injury, and there are fears the forward may require an operation.

Moratti is now considering selling Ibrahimovic to Madrid, providing Van Nistelrooy moves to San Siro as part of the deal.

One problem in this exchange could be the Dutchman's £6 million-a-year wages, which the oil tycoon is reluctant to match.

We really don't expect ibra to score 25-30 goals a season....we have cruz and crespo for that and they are doing a good job....Its not like inter are struggling to score goals....It has never been the case under mancini.....

What we expect from ibra is the tricks and flicks and doing the unexpected.....The playmaking qualities that he has....Creating goals,holding the ball up and sending those decisive passes....Inter don't depend on ibra for his goal scoring ability,we depend on him for his other qualities.....

If he keeps doing that,converts every penalty and scores 10 goals from open play i would be more than happy with him if i was mancini.....

Um Bagg.. you know you cannot judge how many goals Inter score from 3 games in 2 season, don't you? Like Frank said, Ibra is not only a goal scorer but our play making forward. He's responsible for so many of our goals simply by making the final pass or draging players away. He means as much to this team as Cambiasso, Zanetti and J.Cesar do. It's basically as simple as that.

Vieira Wants Scudetto On Rivals Ground

Inter Eyeing Valencia Star Silva
Inter have allegedly set their sights on Valencia's David Silva to strengthen their midfield on the wings.

While AC Milan are keeping a close eye on the goings-on at Barcelona, their cross-town rivals Inter have pointed their sights more to the south -- to Valencia, to be exact, the club which surprisingly eliminated them from the Champions League at the last 16 stage just over a year ago.

Currently the club are going through one of the worst periods in their history, despite winning the Copa Del Rey a few weeks ago. They are even fighting against relegation, with just four points over the relegation zone with four rounds to go. Recently coach Ronald Koeman had to make way, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the squad undergoes a major overhaul next summer.

Massimo Moratti's club have already set their sights on 22-year-old winger David Silva, who scored the decisive second equaliser in the first leg at San Siro and is considered one of the most promising talents in Spanish football. With the certain departure of former Real Madrid man Santiago Solari, and the probable ones of Luis Figo and Aparecido Cesar, it seems clear Inter need a quality player on the wing.

Until a while ago Silva was considered unsellable by Valencia, but the economic problems which have engulfed the club recently might force them to let go of some of their big names. And Silva is certainly one of those.
