MILAN - Massimo Moratti has ruled out a transfer market derby with AC Milan over Ronaldinho.

Responding to a joke that with the price of oil being so high, Inter could buy the Brazilian star, the Nerazzurri's president said: "Ronaldinho's price is a bit high.

"We're following the matter thanks to an excellent relationship with he family, but I don't think we are those who are the most interested - others have officially declared this.

"For now, the only derby is next Sunday's one. It's important for us, but I think it's important for Milan too."

Moratti is not making any announcements regarding possible new faces at Inter for the 2008/09 season, but said that Adriano will return to Inter "and then we'll see what we'll do". He believes that there are no players who could make a striking improvement to the squad, but "there are a few contracts due to run out, so we could move for a winger".

The president added that Mancini will stay, saying: "Mancini is a winner, I'm happy with him. The rumours about the matter arise because they always have to say something about Inter. And I have changed a lot of coaches, so they always want to think that I have other ideas.

"For me and the club, he is confirmed. But it also depends on his position, on his decisions. I don't know if he has had other offers. For me, he is confirmed."

the squad knows how to win. but who are we really beating? an aging ac milan, a depleted juventus and well roma can always pose a threat. perhaps we should be bringing in jose now under the circumstances. i.e ac and juve, so we wont really feel the pinch so to speak.

true about our huge number of strikers. but if jose does come in, we can almost guarantee that lampard or deco will be our playmaker(s) for next season. maybe even ronaldinho or riquelme? considering they have been frozen out of their squadss.

Well, only time will tell. I would love to see us having a full strength team facing a double leg in the CL, something which has not happened for about 4 years.

well...shouldnt be blamed.. if inter werent 10 men down, it couldve easily ended 0-0 and gone to san siro for a very compelling game... either way, i still think its stupid of mancini to field materazzi... especially in europe. he may get away with his BS in italy, but not in europe.

mancini deserves some support.. this season was nothing short of amazing (untill the CL loss). he did very well in italy for a young manager

anyway.. for what its worth....

chelsea will win the CL
