One doesn't contradict the other. The verdicts were done in haste and everyone knows that based on timelines but when Zaccone and the Managers agreed to stay in Serie B and not appeal to the Civil Courts (TAR) it was because THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO! There's the corporate takeover.

Look at the simple timeline and take into consideration how much time each of the accused had to a) review the evidence and b) state their case (35 entities had a few days to defend themselves…do the math).

Point 1 proven. Juventus couldn’t defend itself based on the manner in which the trial took place.
Then look at the Cobolli statements and the subsequent gratitude expressed by Italian sporting authorities to Luca Montezemolo regarding the retraction of the Civil Appeal.

Point 2 Proven. In the proper setting where Juve would have had the time and means to demolish the farce their new financial officers impeded the proceedings.

To that you can add that to no one’s surprise these things were followed by a long line of lucrative sponsorship deals including those of our accusers (Telecom and Gazzetta) that were handed to who? Who made that money? Whose stock tripled?
