Well if Flamini comes, I dont think Rino leaving is the worst thing that can happen to us. Our midfield trio badly needs an injection of new blood and fresh legs.

Assuming he does want to leave, I'm gonna be disappointed in him. First after Istanbul, and now when we have no CL, for me thinking of leaving in these moments is not a good sign of mental strength of a champion. I really dont like it when players leave when the going gets tough. Dont get me wrong, Milanisti will always have appreciation for what he's done for this shirt, but out of our key players, he's the most likely to suffer a dramatic decline very soon. His game solely relies on stamina and running all over the pitch with little technicals or anything else, now that he's after 30, he's likely to lose his big and only asset due to age. For a player like Pirlo, on the other hand, who relies on vision and technique, rather than stamina, he's gonna suffer way less as he gets older

I'd be happy if he stays, but I cant see him being a starter for more than 1 year max.

Out of all our positions, the place we need someone the least is midfield though. I dont know, id take gattuso over flamini everyday, how can people forget all he's done so far. id never think people would be saying gattuso leaving isnt such a bad thing, nevermind that hes getting up there in age, he is the symbol of a team. He represents the hard work and loyalty that milan base their foundations on. I think the money we spend on his whopping wages if he was to come would be better spent somewhere else. But if he was to come and gattuso stays what a defensive midfield that would be next season with Pirlo in between. WOW

I disagree with u mate. That's exactly the kind of thinking that unfortunately our management is taking and that is "Wait until it rots before changing".

IMO, the midfield is the biggest priority along with GK

We need to be proactive. We kept thinking that Cafu is the RB for us until he became utterly useless and injury-prone as age caught up with him, then we had to scramble for all kinds of half-solutions...Stam, Simic and what not....we were 1.5 years late in getting a proper, starting RB (Oddo). There are many other examples.

For example, Seedorf is still starting material. Will he be like that next year? I don't know....but we can't for sure wait until he drops bigtime before doing something, we need to have the depth and quality to make us cope with that.

Can anybody say that an injury-prone, 32-year old Ambro (as of next season), will not spend 3/4 of next season on the sidelines after miraculously being injury-free for the last year?

With the way our midfield got owned so many times this year (Serie A and CL), we definitely needs to strengthened there,2 out of 3 starter above 30+ and the other will be there soon. This also explains why we run out gas so many times this year at crucial parts of the game

very slow first half. livorno have barely stepped out of their own half, and its all just boots to the front; nesta and kaladze are easily taking care of it.

seedorf, pirlo and ambrosini are absolutely dominant today. ambrosini is doing a great job marshaling the midfield in front of the defense, collecting the ball, allowing pirlo to move around more freely. pirlo is simply pirlo, and seedorf is killing the left flank today. i wonder what would happen if he was given the freedom to roam around as well.

fiorentina are still tied with sampadoria 0-0, lets hope samp get a goal or the scores stay the same..

bonera with the cross. i think i would rather have samp draw with fiorentina....samp are still a threat to us as well. either way we would need fiorentina to lose one more game than us out of the remaining three. the one i am worried about the most is the inter game. we haven't gotten a result against them in a long time.
