You may be right Ita but let's not become too pessimistic yet.
We know the season is over, we know Totti may not be the same again but we know the Sensi family will sell soon and that can give us some hope.
I do not have any hope of an Italian owner taking over but at least the team will be sold. It does not necessarily mean everything will be solved and we will start winning competitions but at least things will change.
This team need funds to be invested in experienced quality players. Even though there is a risk to see a Roma very different than the one we like, Roma has to take this risk in order to get new hopes. Sensi and Co will not bring Roma further and unfortunetely there are no Italian interested.... This is pissing me off. For now, we just have to wait and hope. We do not have the most competitive team but we have some very good players, we have the best fans, the best city, soon enough hopefully a better management. We did not have much luck this season but things will change and some better days will come.
I am not for a foreign ownership but I am too tired to see those bunch of amateurs at the helm of the club. No english web-site, no quality merchandising, nobody able to correctly handle negociations with players........that's too much!!! They have some of the best resources with the city of Rome, the fans, etc... and still they are not doing anything with it. You all said it too many times....how can a management be so bad???
I was not happy to see this guy Soros as a potential buyer but I am now resolved to accept the idea bcoz this is the only chance Roma got. Unfortunately, I do not see any better hope so far.
By the way, I see Roma fans from Italy would also like some changes....

Now that we know who the Arabs are what does everyone think? Are they using us to force a deal for Liverfekkin'wankscum? The Soros offer of 300 million and a new stadium was very sound. They have a plan in place to build the club and not just throw money at it like Chelsea. I think i may be in favor of the Soros bid.

Fuck, not the scorelines i wanted to see after the weekend. AND and injury to Totti. Bummer.

All this talk about new owners has me wondering: what is the likelihood of it all getting fucked by the management? Somehow, I'm fearful that I'll click on Il Romanista anyday now and read about how all the potential buyers have sailed off into the sunset leaving us back at square one. Now that would make me sour.

I do not know much about both but I would tend to be more in favour of an American ownership.
Anybody here have more info. about which one would be better for Roma???
