looks like we will get to see fantantonio a little more closely and frequently this season. cassano on loan to sampdoria. i think this is probably the best scenario for all involved. samp seems like the perfect type of team to help him get a lot of playing time and on a team that can prove to be fairly competative for a uefa spot. a loan type deal, without knowing all the details, works well for samp since they can walk away it should we continue to see the type of cassano we all grew to hate. real, well, what the fuck do they care. one player more, one player less, it doesnt seem to matter for real - it's like cassano is inconsequential. he's clearly viewed as more of a headache than as an asset to their team. also, these are the same guys that just splashed out close to 30 mill for sneijder who i remember being valued at the begining of the mercato for below 15 mill.

just a follow up on some interesting details regarding cassano's loan deal to sampdoria:



the most interesting part of the article outlines that the deal includes a clause stating that should sampdoria agree to purchase cassano outright at the end of the season and, in turn, sampdoria decides to sell him off to another club thereafter, real would inherit about 20% of the profit yielded from any future sale of cassano by sampdoria.

also, it looks like samp only pay 1.1 mill of cassano's salary, real pays 2.5 mill and, cassano forfeited 200 grand of his salary to make this move happen.
