That s good Totti has apologized but it is true he should not have reacted like that. As a great professional and the captain of the team, Totti is an example. He was really under pressure at that time of the game and even though I totally understand his reaction I do not realy like to see that. This kind of thing doesnt happen much with Roma and that's good. I don't know what u guys think but I hate seeing how the players in the Premiershit react the way they do in front of referees. Millions of people are watching and they are acting like fucking piece of shite.
On this matter, I would really be in favor of a change of rules, I mean more severity from the referees. Players should not even be allowed to say a word and respect te decisions. We know that there would always be mistakes made and we can't change a decision that has already been taken...why do they always have to go and cry at the referee ....this is really annoying to watch. I always love to see the respect that players have in rugby for referees. This would be great to see the same in football.

Looks like they snuck in an extension with Adrian Pit without telling anyone. He was only on a one year deal.

One of the nice things about these early Coppa games is that it gives me a very good excuse to finish up the day's work just a little early. Forza La Magica. Two goals for Mauro today, I feel, and the real beginning of his giallorosso adventure.

Al, that is pretty funny, but I have to confess I feel a bit sorry for old Avram. Perhaps it's just my perverse streak, but he's been vilified from the very beginning and gets no credit for anything he does well. The media used to lap up the sweat from Jose's testicles and poor old Avram hasn't been given the slightest chance. The fans, of course, just follow what the media tells them to think and then momentum gathers.

I think Steve Clarke and Henk ten Cate should be given all credit for Chelsea's strong comeback. I read a while back that Grant is never to be seen at Chelsea's trainings. Clarke and ten Cate have full control. They set up the tactics and formations before every game. They are responisble for Chelsea's tactical changes during the games as well.

This is my theory. But Avramt Grant not being seen at Chelsea's trainings is a fact.

Is it me guys or the game is quite boring ??? Almost fell asleep....

Wow. What a dire first half. No tempo, no movement, no real interest. Have we ever played with an attacking line which is weaker in the air than Totti, Giuly, Esposito, and Mancini? On the odd occasion the ball has been worked to one of the fullbacks in a crossing position there's just no point in them crossing it in. Taddei and Perrotta may not be monsters in the air, but Giuly and Esposito make them look like veritable giants. It has the atmosphere of a preseason friendly. Perhaps Spags will bring Pizza on at halftime; otherwise I reckon he'll give them a little rocket and see if it makes any difference for 10 minutes or so. Mauro hasn't had a chance to show his pace because they're defending so deep and always with a back 6 so our lack of any aerial threat is making us one-dimensional, if we can even claim to have the one dimension.
