After seeing the replay of the incident 57 times on La Domenica Sportiva, it appears as though Panucci ingnited the situation. Perhaps Doni's reaction was not the best under the circumstances but what can we say. Doni has been great and Panucci should have easily headed that ball away from the net. But, Panucci is playing out of position filling in for Juan and Ferrari.

As far as Totti is concerned, I think he was frustrated yesterday. The referee had no damn business being in that positon and quite frankly, I don't think I have every seen something like that before. I never went to referee school but am I wrong in assuming that you should keep your ass out of the penalty area pretty much at all times, not to mention when there is action taking place inside the area. Tensions were running very high yesterday and certainly that was illustrated by the Doni-Panucci incident and Totti's behavior. I think also that the referee let Udinese get away with some very rugby like behavior. I must credit the boys for sucking it up and steam-rolling Udine from the moment Di Natale scored.
