Pocari, you must speak Cantonese then... The snootiness of Hong Kongers when it comes to Mainlanders is incredible. I try to not be biased but they seem to blame every bad behavior they have here on mainlanders (most of whom who come here are rich and speak far better English than locals), but if you ask someone here if they are from HK or the mainland they will slap you into next week or give you the look of death.

Even though I'm a vegequeerian, I have to confess I do enjoy lamb stuffing.

Maro, control yourself. Stuff all your fancy smancy foods, what's more simpler than a potatoe? Spuds, glorious spuds. Wit some bacon and cabbage, or a bit of stew, or perhaps some boxty, or whats better than a nice bit of boiled coddle? Yum.

Shield, one of my colleagues is from Belfast and she can't stand the English spuds so every time she goes home she comes back with a suitcase full of good Irish potatoes to keep her going for a few weeks. She is, no doubt, a little mad, but that's admirable culinary commitment, I say. She is (and should be) committed, I guess.

Dude it's America. What more can you ask for. Try a fried seahorse and then let me know how it is. I haven't found any here. Apparently I missed snake season (it tastes like chicken I hear) and I went to Tokyo at the tail end of Fugu (blowfish) season. I just didnt have time to get out and try it but I hear it's really expensive.

I thought the blowfish was a Thai speciality (you know, one of those meals with a particularly happy ending). Let me just clarify something - is it the sea horse that's on the stick or is it you. I know Morra, at least, tried it this way.

I personally think its an East Asian speciality, or its just cheap here and readily available to a wide market...
