Juve Set For Pa-Pa Swap Deal?

Reports emerging from Italy suggest that Juventus and Fiorentina could swap Raffaele Palladino and Manuel Pasqual this summer.

The Bianconeri are certain to sign a new left back for next season, given the problems encountered by current first choice Cristian Molinaro.

Fiorentina meanwhile are being tipped to snap up Udinese left back Andrea Dossena, which will thus leave Pasqual surplus to requirements at the Stadio Franchi.

Pasqual has long been admired by Juve, and indeed they were close to purchasing him in 2006 before the onset of the Calciopoli crisis.

Fiorentina will allow the 26-year-old to join the Old Lady, provided Raffaele Palladino moves the other way.

Palladino is widely regarded as one of Italy’s most talented young players, but he has had a largely frustrating season, spending large portions both out of position and on the bench.

The 23-year-old seems certain to leave in the summer, and a move to the Viola would interest the forward, as not only are they looking likely to qualify for the Champions League, but coach Cesare Prandelli also has a reputation for nurturing young talent.

A straight swap would be great for both teams. Palladino will never play to his potential at juve, he'll probably end up being a star but I doubt it'll happen at juve. Plus, I really like pasqual, he's probably the best LB we've been linked with.

Reports: Flamini in Juve agreement

Arsenal midfield star Mathieu Flamini will join Juventus this summer, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The 24-year-old’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season and he has refused to sign a new deal, reportedly rejecting a lucrative five-year offer.

The news that Flamini is ready to leave London has prompted a flurry of interest in Italy with Milan, Inter and Juventus all believed to be chasing his signature.

Reports from France suggest that the Marseille youth product has snubbed the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri and already come to a provisional agreement with the Old Lady.

Juve are looking to add to their midfield options with summer signings Tiago Mendes and Sergio Almiron having failed to make their mark.

The Cadetti champions have already added former Liverfekkin'wankscum man Mohamed Sissoko to the ranks and could pull off another English swoop.

Should Flamini arrive at the Stadio Olimpico it would surely silence whispers linking Juve with Chelsea’s Frank Lampard.

Flamini has made over 100 appearances for Arsenal since joining the Gunners in 2004.

Ranieri Wants Giovinco, Marchisio & De Ceglie To Return

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri wants to recall Sebastian Giovinco, Claudio Marchisio and Paolo De Ceglie to the club in time for next season, according to Leggo.

Giovinco is one of Italy’s most gifted young players, an infinitely talented trequartista with fantastic skill and creativity.

The 21-year-old has been on-loan at Empoli this season, and despite the club being rock-bottom, he has had a great season, scoring five goals in 28 games.

Midfielder Marchisio is also on-loan at Empoli, and has played 21 times this campaign for the Tuscans. Like Giovinco, he is a regular in the Italy Under-21 national team, and Ranieri would like to bring him back to fill the void of Tiago Mendes, who will be sold in the summer.

Finally The Tinkerman also wants to recall Paolo De Ceglie, although this may be more complicated as he is half-owned by Siena.
De Ceglie is one of Italy’s best young left backs, a player with searing pace, and an ability to get up-and-down the flank.

Madrid Make 25M Amauri Bid?

Real Madrid have reportedly tabled a mega-money offer for Palermo striker Amauri, in an attempt to snatch him from the grasp of Juventus

The 27-year-old centre forward has impressed for the Sicilian club, having scored 22 goals in 34 Serie A games since moving from Chievo Verona in 2006.

Such form - despite a long injury lay-off in the middle - has garnered strong interest from Italian giants Juventus, who have supposedly made an initial offer of 15 million euros as they look to freshen up their ageing forward line.

But according to Italian media, Los Merengues have swooped in with a 25 million offer bid for the Brazilian star – a figure that Juve are unlikely to match.

However, it appears the Bianconeri are willing to offer a number of add-ons in an attempt to sway Palermo, including the loan of Sebastian Giovinco and the sale of Marco Marchionni. It could come down to whether Palermo prefer cash up front, or players in part-exchange.

Real Madrid are keen to sign one top striker as Ruud van Nistelrooy's cover and long term successor, and reports recently have suggested that Amauri, Karim Benzema and Klaas Jan Huntelaar are the options they are considering.
