Lecce sporting director Guido Angelozzi hopes that Roma will buy the SalentiniÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s 50 per cent share in Montenegrin hitman Mirko Vucinic. Having spent last term on loan at Roma, Vucinic has become an important figure for the capital club and they paid Lecce around Ã‚Â£5m for a co-ownership deal at the start of this season.

Despite reported interest from a number of top European clubs, including Manchester United, Roma are in pole position to cement VucinicÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s signing at the end of the campaign.

essentially they are saying, "we dont want to talk about the market at this time but we'd like to take the opportunity to add a few hyperboles in describing vucinic and threaten roma with the prospect of other richer clubs negotiating with us so that we can drive the price as high as we possibly can when we finally cash in on him"...or something along those lines.

Yeah I seen em, not bad at all. He would be a solid addition. Mario Gomez banged in a couple of raspers too. Not that we can realistically afford either, but its nice to dream eh.

yes, saw the one gomez goal that he curled around the keeper. very nice finish. really, if we have to dream then lets dream about getting luca here. what does bayern offer that we cant, apart from double the salary?

Inter defender Christian Chivu says that Roma have no chance of overtaking them and winning the Scudetto.

The Nerazzurri have had a dreadful recent run of form, which has seen their lead at the top of the table cut from 11 points to just four.
