Flamini Says No To Juve

Matthieu Flamini has told Juventus that he has no intention of signing for them because he wants to stay at Arsenal.

The French midfielder put in a simply stunning performance, and was arguably the man-of-the-match, at San Siro last night as Arsenal won 2-0 to knock holders AC Milan out of the Champions League.

Flamini’s contract at the Emirates Stadium runs out in the summer, and there has been speculation that Juventus may be lining up a bid.

However after yesterday’s game Flamini made it perfectly clear that his future plans did not involve the Bianconeri.

Secco Slams Ranieri Sack Talk As A ‘Joke’

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has angrily hit out at those who say that coach Claudio Ranieri should be sacked, and also rubbishes the accusations that the team lacks creativity.

Ranieri has come under heavy fire since the 3-2 home defeat to Fiorentina at the weekend, a result which means that Juve have picked up just one point in their last three games.

With the Bianconeri’s Champions League qualification hopes now in the balance, many supporters have been calling for ‘the Tinkerman’ to be sacked.

Juve: Yes To Ranieri, No To Lippi

The Juventus hierarchy have insisted that Claudio Ranieri will be staying as coach for the considerable future, and that Marcello Lippi will not be returning to the club.

Ranieri has come under heavy fire since the 3-2 home defeat to Fiorentina at the weekend, a result which means that Juve have picked up just one point in their last three games.

With the Bianconeri’s Champions League qualification hopes now in the balance, many supporters have been calling for ‘the Tinkerman’ to be sacked.

Reports in the press have also suggested that Marcello Lippi may be lined up to replace Ranieri, however Gigli has categorically rubbished these rumours.

who says canna wants to come back? he wants to play for napoli before he retires, wasnt that his "dream" ?

anyway.. i dont know why some clubs in italy always go for the "older" players...

thank god ranieri isnt like that.. i think being in the epl rubbed off on him.. momo is 23.. and the rest of the kids should be starting more regularly next season.. i want a young arsenal like juve.. thats the way to go

Sia De Laurentiis che Marino ne hanno ribadito l'incedibilità, ma pare che la Juventus, di mollare Marek Hamsik non ne voglia proprio sapere e sarebbe pronta a giocarsi nel prossimo mercato estivo i due assi che ha nella manica: per il riscatto di Marcelo Zalayeta ed Emanuele Blasi era stata concordata una cifra di circa 2,5 milioni ciascuno; ma dopo l'ottima stagione disputata la valutazione potrebbe risultare quasi raddoppiata, ed il club partenopeo potrebbe trovarsi tra la scelta di dover effettuare un enorme esborso economico e quella di perderli entrambi, con notevole danno tecnico e di immagine; sarà su questo nodo che si disputerà la sfida di mercato tra le due società.
