Il difensore del Real Madrid Cicinho avrebbe rotto con la societa` spagnola: la Roma e` in agguato. Il brasiliano ha parlato a lungo con il dg del Real Pedrag Mijatovic e pare sempre piu` vicino il suo passaggio in giallorosso. Secondo indiscrezioni dalla stampa spagnola, le `merengues` vorrebbero utilizzare Cicinho, che fatica a trovare posto in squadra con il nuovo tecnico Bernd Schuster, per giungere a un altro brasiliano, Mancini, ma la trattativa appare ancora molto intricata.

A un passo invece dal trasferimento alla Roma l`esterno della Reggina Francesco Modesto, anche se manca ancora l`accordo economico tra le due societa`. Se dovessero arrivare i due terzini (uno destro e uno sinistro), il mercato della Roma potrebbe considerarsi praticamente chiuso; sarebbero `esaudite` infatti tutte le richieste di mercato effettuate dal tecnico Spalletti.

Mancini: l'agente 'Prolungherà con la Roma'

Gilmar Veloz, procuratore di Amantino Mancini, ritiene che il brasiliano prolungherà il contratto con la Roma. ''È una priorità - spiega l'agente -. Sto aspettando la convocazione della Roma per trovare un accordo. Ho già parlato con il ds della Roma Pradè. Mentre il giocatore ha avuto contatti con Rosella Sensi. Entrambi abbiamo espresso la volontà di rimanere qui. Adesso attendiamo un segnale, abbiamo dato la nostra parola e aspettiamo. Mancini è un giocatore di caratura mondiale: chi si mette in evidenza in Italia come ha fatto lui, può giocare in qualsiasi torneo".

Avvocato, that headline is the one which puts easily the most positive thing on his comments. As I see it it feels awfully like the beginnings of Chivugate: we've talked, there should be no trouble renewing the contract, we're just waiting to sit down with Rosella. Only Rosella puts it off and off and off because she knows the conclusion of the negotiations isn't going to be pretty. Actually that may not be the case here, but one is inclined to worry. If there are no problems, then sit down and seal the deal and we can go from there. I like that headline, but I'm not sure it's true really to the tenor of the comments.

On a happier note, it looks as though J-I may just have registered here. It will be excellent if he's here, dangerous as it is to encourage Rubentini of any kind.
