Hey Egde, I see your boy Mido is working hard on his attitude and humility to become a better player. I just read that on he has compared himself to none other than Marco Van Basten. How fucking nice of him. He's aiming a bit low though, isn't he...?

And finally, I see Spalletti has been talking about this supposed tension within the squad on Its nothing to be concerned about, right?

I think the boys are starting to appreciate quite how much is at stake in this tie with Real - it's not simply a chance to redeem some giallorosso honour, our one remaining chance to win some serious silverware this season and to place Roma properly on the world footballing map. Much more significant than any of that, it's absolutely critical in bringing the Avvocato back into the fold. His patience is at breaking point and so Francesco et al. have to pull out something seriously special. And not before time.

We're all expecting a "rebirth" from Roma. I am trying to hope and believe in something great happening tomorrow night but I am honestly disappointed and worried about the situation right now. Is it possible that after such a long time without good performance, they come on the field tomorrow and surprise??? I do not believe in it too much...not anymore.
It's true, it's easy to criticize the players when things go wrong but how could we not after the recent games???I mean, look at the matches we have played and the quality of our game....not praiseworthy at all.
As Italiama said, how come don't we show more desire and enthusiasm, more determination and courage??? The team and its cohesion looks so poor right now??? Can we really expect something big tomorrow??? I wouldn't dare guys...
Now the news that there was some friction after the game between Aquilani and Panucci is not giving me confidence.
The problem is not only the players but Spalletti choices recently are weird. For sure he's great and wont become shit from one day to the other but who can really understand his strategy? We have more depth than last year but still....the same players are always playing.
I don't know how we are going to manage to score tomorrow guys... this team was and could be offensive but not anymore. We r missing a good trequartista and Roma, if want to be part of the best teams around will need either to invest in a great striker next year and put Totti back to his more original position or buy a good playmaker. Perrotta is not there anymore. As much as I like him, the guy is finished and I'm afraid we'll start seeing totti decline from now on. I'm not saying he's not gonna play good anymore but we can't expect him to start all the games and being productive anymore. The guy is in pain and do not have the strenght to pull the team at a higher level. I dont remember who said that the armband should now go to De Rossi but I totally agree. If roma is to dream about a great near future, then the start would be to give De Rossi the leader position in and out of the field.
I usually never gives prediction for a game but I 'm saying Real 2 - Roma 1 for tomorrow.

Al, very good to see you here, my friend. You should introduce yourself around a bit and make yourself known, and please pay no attention to the likes of Pompinamia, he is merely another Waterboy loving fanboy who likes to venture outside his own forum when he feels like talking shit. There are a lot of Romanisti here who all contribute and make this forum a very worthwhile and entertaining read, if it at times some of them can go into hibernation at times. I think you may know a few of them from RA and other places.

As for this tensione, I would not be too worried about it either, Al. Some of the lads could do within getting in a bit of a row and getting a few slaps, maybe it will wake the likes of Pizarro and Taddei up a bit and get they're heads outta they're asses. I love the way Spalletti has turned this one around, saying its a positive thing. We do need to toughen up.

if that is true, they really are a bunch of retards. first, for getting a fight over this, and second, for actually thinking of what tattoos to get next. and aquilani may be an important player for the future of roma, but he is no influential senator of the team yet. the kid should remember that he is still riding the pine in favour of pizarro.
