i think Lippi and Donadoni have both played him in a 3 man midfield, but yeah our defence is probably not strong enough for that... maybe a duo between Palla, de l p and Cammo supporting trez or iaquinta..

Putting Camoranesi behind the striker + one of DP or Palladino is a completely different story. Camoranesi loves to go wide for deep crosses and also cut through the middle to release the man up front, or push directly for goal. I think that position would suit Camoranesi perfectly. Palladino on the left side will do what Nedved currently does, cut through the middle to shoot from distance, one-two with Trez, or release Trez directly.

Having a midfield like the one Juve has, with Zanetti, Nocerino & Sissoko might be a perfect combination, with regards to characteristics, even though I would much prefer to have 2 def. midfielders + a creative def. midfielder (ala Pirlo) to ‘ignite’ the attacking players. I guess you already have a player who can do this role, but he might be leaving soon.

Mind you, with this setup, you’ll have more of your current offensive players rotting on the bench. I am thinking about Nedved, The Waterboy & Iaquinta. A good squad rotation would be needed in this case.

i highly doubt, that after this season nedved will start... so i believe palla still might have a future with juve, although the ideal replacement for him is Giovinco. One player i have doubts about is Iaquinta. In the beginning of the season he was the player that would take juve forward when a draw or loss seemed inevitable, now it seems he's surplus. Specially with a probable big name signing in the summer like Huntelaar, Cassano or Amuari(i hope not), it seems likely he'll leave..

FIGC President Giancarlo Abete and Coach Roberto Donadoni met today, but any agreement on the Italy boss' contract will have to wait. Donadoni’s current deal is due to expire two weeks after the Final of Euro 2008, but the Italian Football Federation have insisted that he will be given a new contract before the competition starts. There had been suggestions that today’s meeting in Rome would see an agreement finalised, but that didn’t come to fruition.

“There was a positive atmosphere at the meeting and the objective is to sort out a mutually agreeable contract as quickly as possible,â€
