Diego: I want Juve

Werder Bremen’s Brazilian star Diego has admitted that he is excited by Juventus’ interest and that a move is possible.

The gifted playmaker is attracting interest from all over Europe, including Inter, but the Old Lady are believed to be the only side to have made a formal approach regarding a summer move.

The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their midfield for a Scudetto push next term and reports suggest that Diego is near the top of the shopping list.

Despite Diego’s insistence that he is happy to remain in the Bundesliga, he has finally conceded that a move to Juve is an attractive proposition.

Werder Bremen are not a team that needs money. And they are asking for 35M Euros. I doubt they will simply settle for less, and part ways with their most important player.

Reports: Tokyo Want Nedved

According to reports in Japan, FC Tokyo could be about to make a move for Czech star Pavel Nedved.

FC Tokyo will speak with Juventus officials and is likely to table a bid in July worth around $10 million. The FC Tokyo board reportedly approved the required finances to be made available to secure Nedved’s signature.

"It all depends how things develop from now," FC Tokyo chairman Yutaka Murabayashi was quoted as saying.

"But we will do everything we can (to sign Nedved)."

Nedved, 35, earned 91 caps for his country before retiring from international duty after the 2006 World Cup. He was named European player of the year in 2003.

If Nedved heads to the Japanese capital, he would be the latest in a long line of high-profile imports to play in the J-League.

In the past Brazilian stars Zico and Dunga, Gary Lineker of England and Bulgaria’s Hristo Stoichkov all played in Japan towards the end of their careers.

Tokyo are still waiting for their first J-League title.

and theres nothing "super" about ronaldo... he just happens to be in the RIGHT TEAM, with the RIGHT MANAGER, and RIGHT teammates.

quaresmo is not overrated, but he is not on ronaldo's level yet. he is ridiculously one-footed, though. for juve, diego would probably be a better replacement to nedved, though. both are better than van der vaart.

I'll take 10 million and VDV over diego. If any team joins the diego race you'll see us pull out because we don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for one player.

I think that if the circumstances were reversed and quaresma not ronaldo was playing for manure right now, we wouldn't be talking about ronaldo being arguably the best player in the world.
