7 nights in Rome at camping Tiber youth hostel is 11 euro's per night = 77 euro's
on the 23rd i watch Roma - Juve at the olimpico
ont eh 26th i watch Fiorentina - Roma in florence travelling with the roma fans
on the 30th i watch Roma - Inter at the olimpico....1st oct i leave and i would missed one week of school....

Modesto-Roma, storia infinita

Bisogna aspettare ancora per Modesto. Sta diventando quasi una storia infinita la trattativa per il difensore amaranto. L'incontro definitivo tra il presidente della Reggina Lillo Foti e la Roma per la firma sul contratto, che si sarebbe dovuto tenere oggi, è slittato ancora. E visto che il laterale è tornato sullo Stretto dalla tourneè americana con la Reggina ogni momento è buono per la conclusione di un'intesa che, sulle sue linee generali, è già definita. Le distanza tra domanda e offerta è minima. Per chiudere, Foti vuole almeno 2.5 milioni, mentre la Roma sarebbe disposta ad arrivare a 2.250 milioni, più l'eventuale prestito di Rosi. Meno dei 3.5 milioni offerti dal Parma. Ma qui conta la volontà del giocatore, che con la Reggina è stato categorico: «Voglio solo la Roma». Arrivata per il giocatore la "consacrazione" da Spalletti nella conferenza stampa di sabato a Trigoria, la società giallorossa potrebbe dare un'accelerata finale alla trattativa. L'occasione per mettere la parola "fine" alla vicenda-Modesto l'avrebbe potuto fornire ieri la presentazione dei calendari. Ma il diesse romanista Pradè ha disertato il salone d'onore del Coni, dove invece c'era Foti. Più che probabile che i due tornino a parlare di Modesto entro la fine di questa settimana. Con il giocatore l'intesa sarebbe già stata raggiunta. Il difensore, che nella Roma andrebbe a ricoprire (sulla carta) il ruolo di vice Tonetto, è pronto a mettere la firma su un quadriennale da 600mila euro a stagione. Né il problema sarebbe Rosi, che ha già comunicato alla società la decisione di voler fare esperienza fuori dalla Capitale. Nonostante alla Roma siano arrivate diverse offerte per il giocatore (tra cui una "importante" dal Livorno, ma in comproprietà: formula non gradita a Trigoria), alla fine Rosi potrebbe accettare con piacere la soluzione Reggina.

Good buttfecking jasus... can someone explain this to me please? How can we still be struggling to negociate a fee with Reggina for Modesto? Here we are, €14m richer from the sale of Chivu, and yet we still haggle and fart around on a player who Spalletti has said many times that he wants and who said himself that he only wants Roma. From what I can understand, we are offering €2.25m but they want €2.5m, plus the loan of Rosi. I'm not sure if this is full or co-ownership, but why the hell don't we just buy all of him and get it done with. Giving them Rosi would be good for all parties, as long as it is a straight-forward loan (which it probably isn't), as he could do with some regular football to develop, but its downright stupid that we can't even secure Modesto at this stage in the game. Get the finger out Rosella and sign him already.

Praise the Lord. We finally got rid of that dib-dab feck so now I feel free to post again. I'm terrified when he's about that I'm going to say yemenyemenyemen by mistake when he's expressly asked us not to mention the place.

What shall we talk about then, funeral director? The mother duck with her seven little ducklings who's just wandering past my window in the park next-door? It is a particularly curious phenomenon that the Ely ducks are conspicuously ugly while the ducklings are conventionally cute. Go figure. Something else for Fonzarelli to think about under his picachu tree.

Or we could talk about the whispers that not all is well in the negotiations to extend Ferrari's contract. Chris over on the offside has a nice formulation - presumably he wants to be paid as a front-liner even though that's not quite his role within the squad. I should imagine that will be settled according to Spags' judgement - if he thinks he's doing a special job within the squad the wage demands will be met. If he thinks he's doing a great job but that there are plenty of others about who could do it just as well, etc. etc. etc.

We could talk about Nesta's announcement today. I wonder if it will be met with quite so many roars of disquiet.
