MILAN - Two players have moved on loan to other clubs as part of Inter's ongoing policy of giving its young players the chance to continue their professional development.

Italy Under-21 goalkeeper Enrico Alfonso (goalkeeper, born 1988) has joined Serie C1 side S.S. Calcio Venezia on loan until the end of the season.

Alfonso joined Inter after spells at ChievoVerona and Pizzighettone and gained valuable experience in his five months with Roberto Mancini's first team, making his debut in Inter's Tim Cup home match against Reggina on 17 January.

Ibrahim Maaroufi (midfielder, born 1989) has moved on loan to Dutch outfit Twente after a season and a half with Inter's academy.

Morocco international Maaroufi (he was born in Belgium but holds dual nationality and elected to play for the North African team) won the Primavera title in 2007 and trained regularly with Roberto Mancini's first team, making his debut against Livorno at the Giuseppe Meazza on 25 October 2006.

He has also played three Tim Cup matches for the first team, has taken part in two summer training camps, and has played in numerous friendly matches.

Napoli are about to take another interesting youngster from Brescia, who was previously an Inter target. Apparently, when it comes down to Brescia players, we cannot compete with Napoli :roll:

I doubt we'll see a second line Inter squad tonight. All the big guys, except Ibra will be there. Crespo has a flu, so wont be there.
