VINOVO (Torino), 28 gennaio 2008 - Un nuovo arrivo in difesa per fronteggiare l'emergenza infortunati. Guglielmo Stendardo ÃƒÂ¨ stato presentato oggi a Vinovo, il difensore approda alla Juventus in prestito dalla Lazio fino a fine stagione. GiocherÃƒÂ subito in coppa Italia contro l'Inter, al posto dello squalificato Grygera, mentre in campionato dovrÃƒÂ scontare 2 turni di squalifica, ma non ÃƒÂ¨ escluso che la Juve possa presentare ricorso. Alla presentazione Alessio Secco ha fatto il punto sul mercato juventino.

RINCALZO - "Avevamo bisogno di un difensore dopo la cessione di Boumsong e la scelta piÃƒÂ¹ logica era Mellberg. Abbiamo tentato di anticipare i tempi del suo arrivo, ma lo svedese arriverÃƒÂ soltanto a giugno. Allora la scelta ÃƒÂ¨ caduta su Stendardo, un difensore con caratteristiche adatte per sostituire Boumsong. Lotito ha fissato una clausola di riscatto volutamente alta, in modo che il giocatore possa tornare a Roma a fine stagione".

Jean Alain Boumsong leaves for Olympic Lyon

Juventus Football Club has arrived at an agreement with Olimpic Lyon for the permanent sale of defender JeanÃ¢â‚¬â€œAlain Boumsong.

In merit of the public position assumed by Olympic Lyon, it is not JuventusÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s style to comment on the declarations of other football clubs, with reference to information regarding the negotiations of the deal. In any case Juventus conferms to have constantly maintained a correct manner during every phase of the negotiations, continuing in the necessary timescale to complete the deal in a satisfactory way.

With this situation in mind, Juventus has allowed the player and the French football club to accelerate technical times, authorising contact and medical visits before an agreement was actually reached, being perfectly clear throughout the negotiations.
