Anybody here aside from me worried that Juve risk losing out of a CL spot given the good performances by Fiorentina/Udinese recently?? These are 2 teams with great players which when they get hot, are unstoppable. I've given up on the scudetto (blow me Lomba, you were right). Now that Chiellini is out for 3+games and Juve are getting nobody, I can see them dropping points and places. Top 4 finish isn't guaranteed with only a 4 to 5 point cushion. They play a good Sampdoria team revitalized by crater-boy who can have oodles of fun vs our shitty defense. I'd like to thank the management for fuckin this one up.

Tiago: I Have To Quit Juve

Tiago Mendes’ days at Juventus seem numbered after he admitted that he cannot bear to stay at the club any longer.

The Portuguese international only signed for Juve from Lyon in the summer in a €13m deal, however he has been a huge flop in the Italian league.

Last Saturday he was offered a great chance to kick-start his career in Turin when he was named in the starting XI to face Catania, however after a disastrous first-half performance he was hauled off at half-time.

Tiago also started Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli, but he was once again subbed at the interval with Juve trailing 4-3 on aggregate.

The 26-year-old has been linked with an exit from the club for several weeks now, and he has told Tuttosport that this would be the best solution to take.

I'm watching the fiorentina game and unless torino come back the referee just gave fiorentina 3 points with that terrible penalty giving on mutu. Mutu was already falling when that little bit of contact (if any) was made. Pretty bad decision IMO.

I just knew marchionni's tap in from 2 feet away would cost us this game. It's funny how mutu gets awarded 2 penalties for obvious dives and then when an obvious penalty happens it goes uncalled. I actually agreed with the ref. in not calling the penalty on marchionni because he does get a bit of the ball. I'm fine with that play because a penalty should replace a good opportunity to score. In fact, the play I would like to take another look at is when trez touches the ball over the defenders head and trys to cut back into the middle and gets taken down. Trez beats his man and trys to go back to the ball and the defender impedes his progress. If the defender let him go trez might be able to get to that ball and have a great opportunity to score. That to me is a penalty, I'm fine with those iffy tackles where the defenders gets some of the ball and some of the man but in trez case it should always be called. It's seems as though every weekend we talk about the referee's and how bad their decision making is. How can one referee call 3 penalties in one game (palermo-siena) and another referee be so harsh? Do these referee's even have meetings to discuss things? Or are they winging it every weekend? I say get rid of all the Italian referee's and bring in a new bunch from another country so they can't be biased. All I'm asking for is consistency.
