Boruc reveals £10m get-out


Artur Boruc has revealed that he will be allowed to leave Celtic if any club bids £10million for him. The Polish star signed a new long-term contract last week as the likes of Milan and Arsenal showed a strong interest.

The goalkeeper penned a three-year extension at Celtic Park, but he has now revealed that he could still leave if a big offer comes in. ''If somebody will pay about £10million, I can depart. Both parties are satisfied," Boruc told Gazeta Wyborcza.

''Besides, I had proposals from other clubs in the newspapers only. I did not have concrete offers. 'I did not want to burn bridges with Celtic. If I have to part sometime, then it will be on normal principles. I am satisfied and signed this contract in order that the champions of Scotland profits from it also.''

i just saw on fox soccer channel that boruc signed a contract extension with celtic. i really don't think we'll be getting him this january. that and he is cup tied. amelia and frey are our best options, but if amelia is heading to barca, then fiorentina would charge us an arm and a leg for frey.

£10m does seem a bit steep for Boruc, and while he is a very good 'keeper I don't know if I'd put him in the top-class tier of goalkeepers (well there are very few). If Barca are indeed after Amelia then I hope Milan step up the chase and sign him, as it would be ridiculous to see Italy's number two leave the league when Milan have been actively seeking a new goalie.

Another option would be Akinfeev of CSKA, who is meant to have a lot of admirers.

mourinho on the other hand, will make milan play and think differently

kaka will start to dive more often

players will start to use dirty tactics

oily, last I heard Moaninho was on his way to Anfield. The only difference there, I guess, is that he won't need to teach Gerrard how to dive; certainly he'll have his work cut out getting him to dive more often.
